I was looking to optimize storage place in my new home and decided that a custom closet would be the right approach. I researched a number of custom closet companies but ultimately went with Henry at Space Age Closets for a couple of reasons:
- He actually provides custom designs and sizes for your closet. Most other companies provide fixed size wardrobe fixtures that they install in your closet.
- The designs he provided were better than any other company I spoke to.
- He had a large assortment of vanities and styles in his showroom for me to choose from, but wasn't trying to upsell me on anything. He advised getting what would be most practical and cost effective for me.
- The quality of craftsmanship seemed better than everyone else.
The cherry on top was that the installers were amazing. They used runners, cleaned up after themselves, and truly treated my house like their own. I didn't even have to tell them to use shoe covers or do any wood cutting outside - they knew how to take care of my home and left it how they found it. Not only that, but they even patched the holes from my previous closet installation for me, which they really didn't have to do.
