Excellent job cleaning my upholstery - they had proper equipment, took their time, and my sectional looks like NEW !! I've had them do my area rug in the past and was beyond pleased with that as well. You can't go wrong using this local, family owned business.

I was out of the country, when my dog became extremely sick (end of life), and she soiled the carpet in our front hallway.

Although I appreciate Austin Smith Carpet & Upholstery Cleaning for making an emergency visit for my dad, there were terrible stains left over after they were done, blaming my Dad for rubbing the stains in while he tried to clean it up himself. While I agree that will make the stain worse/harder to clean, they boasted to my Dad about their $60,000 cleaning equipment. I have a personal steam cleaner at home, but my Dad has a bad back and couldnt lift/use it himself, so he called Austin Smith cleaners.

The residual stains were horrible. For almost $300 (for not even an entire room/hallway), we were shocked that they couldnt get more out.

I ended up using my personal steam cleaner when I got home, thinking I would try and reduce the staining, and lo-and-behold, the stains were 100% gone! I wish I would have taken before/after pictures, but I honestly didnt expect it to come out after a professional company said that was the best they could do. My $600 steam cleaner did a better job than their $60,000 equipment! A $283 charge, only to have to redo it myself is ridiculous!

Great service and great job will be doing more business in the future!
I have had Sears come in and leave my carpets very wet and more than double the cost.
