Seemed like a good guy...went to the pit...chose my product...he showed up next day dumped it and it wasn't the product, what do you do... payed for it. Called, admits he's a hoarder and doesn't follow through with his word. What does that mean?

Have negative experience hiring Ottewell as a excavation contractor.

Ottewell was commissioned to do the excavation and septic for my home. Do NOT use this company or trust Ottewell to conduct business in an honest, ethical or professional manner. His billing is shady, prices inflated and when questioned was completely unreasonable and obnoxious to deal with. Fortunately, his antics were discovered early in the process and we sourced another company to complete the job. Use another company.

Ottewell is a very slippery operator. Dishonest billing and very obnoxious when called up on his shoddy work and shady billing practices. Suggest using another supplier in region for excavation or septic work.

We found Dale Ottewell to be a difficult man to deal with. His bills were inflated and when confronted he became beligerent. His work was shoddy and he rarely fully completed any one aspect of the job. We hope that no one else in the area has to suffer the expensive consequences of hiring this man. Do your homework, get several references.
