Legacy Kitchens Calgary

Legacy kitchen designed and renovated our bungalow kitchen and it turned out just great. The designer Gavin gave us ideas we had not thought of and are so functional and looks great. The project manager, John was very detailed and the job site was cleaned up every day. All the trades were top quality and all work was on time, budget and above our expectations. The other John from legacy reviewed all work for quality control and reordered a couple pieces as they were not up to their standards. Great Job and thanks.

My wife and I came to the same conclusion after our new kitchen was completed (on schedule)…Legacy Kitchens was easily the Best contractor we have ever worked with, and we’ve worked with many over the years. From start to finish, working with Legacy was a breeze. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and professional. The showroom is great with tons of designs and materials to choose from. Before the job started, they provided us with a printed schedule so we knew exactly what was going to happen and when, which was awesome!...AND, the job was completed as per the schedule. All problems (not that there were many) were dealt with quickly. We are very happy with our new kitchen, and would highly recommend Legacy Kitchens.

We had a custom kitchen designed and installed by Legacy (Kitchencraft) when we built our home. The kitchen cabinet products have been durable and still look great. We recent had some issues with hinge hardware for heavy cabinet doors on a curved cabinet. When I was unable to get any results from the hinge manufacturer; Legacy stepped up. Their Service Manager, Russell, came to our home, analyzed the and came up with a brilliant solution. His knowledge and expertise is unchallenged. Russ was extremely, professional, courteous and provided specific details with respect to the problem and solutions. We highly recommend the products and services received to any person or company. You will not regret using their products and service. We are extremely happy.

Legacy was a class act to deal with from initial consult (as we tried to decide who we would be working with) to post installation support. I would recommend Legacy to anyone and would not hesitate to use them again.

Designers: We worked with two different designers (Arno & Jennean). They were very patient with us. We had never taken on such a project before and had a concept we wanted to work with from a show home that we saw. The designers experience and recommendations helped up agree on the final design. We couldn't have asked for more.

Scope: Legacy removed all cabinets, island, built-in pantry, rerun electrical & plumbing, and prepped our ceiling(s) to have flat surface finish.

Planning/Scheduling: Our main renovation coordinator/scheduler contact was May. She was fantastic. We received a detailed schedule in advance of any work starting which helped us plan and schedule sub-trades we hired.

Installation: Marc did the majority of the demo and installation. He was an extremely hard worker with top notch quality. He always made time to chat with us during construction (we moved out of the house for 2 months). If he wasn't sure he called to ask/clarify.

Coordination with other trades: Legacy worked extremely well with the sub-trades I hired directly. We had hired flooring, painting, tiling, windows installation and counter tops. We never had one hiccup. May and Marc were key success factors.

Post completion walk-through: I was totally impressed with the thoroughness of the walk-through. John found things that I missed.

Post construction communication: Without fail, Legacy continues to be the same classy company we experienced during our first meeting.

Very popular company, mostly serving home builders. They did a good job but I had to have countertops replaced after 5 years and now again 5 years later the same problem happens. I guess the product from them only last 5 years ....not great. Tried to contact company few times via email but I got no reply. I don think they serve individuals as much as builders.

Legacy Kitchens offered a reasonable selection of cabinetry for a reasonable cost, however I would have preferred being able to customize more and be able to choose from a wider range of sizes.

I was very impressed with Legacy Kitchens. They installed beautiful cabinets and had great subcontractors. Everything they promised was perfect. When they said they would have a certain job in the Reno completed by a certain day...they always kept their promises. I found everyone very helpful. Thank you so much

I cannot say enough good things about Legacy. I'd heard nightmare stories from others about renos...but my experience with Legacy was the exact opposite. It was done on time. They were very professional and provided a timeline/calendar that showed me what was going on with the reno everyday! I knew what work was being done and which contractor would be in my house. I just loved working with them.
