CBIT Computer Boulevard

These guys are awesome they diagnosed and fixed my 5 year old desktop for $35 and I had it back the next day. The problem turned out to be the power supply unit had burned out. The swapped it out for a newer one and even recommended some free utilities/programs I could download online to monitor my computer’s health.

Great prices and excellent customer service. Very knowledgeable and helpful staff. I bought a new modem, and they price matched it with another retailer. The very next day, they helped me work out some issues with my other PC, spent a lot of time with me and helped me figure it out. This has easily been my best experience with any computer store. It's the only place I'm going from now on.

A very disorganized store to begin with. Have had to return absolutely everything I have bought there (only 2 things, learned my lesson). A monitor cable was faulty, brought it back, they tested it and said it was working normally (the picture was supposed to be slightly blurry according to the service dept.). Also bought a KVM switcher, broke the first time I turned the dial, took it back, and they said it was mis-used. After a lot of hassle finally they accepted my return and have never been back.

BUYER BEWARE. PLACE TO AVOID. TERRIBLE SERVICE.
I will start by stating that I was CBiT costumer in past and that as a small bussiness owner I purchased few computer systems for my store from them. That being said , NEVER AGAIN , they will see another dollar from me. Couple days ago I went to CBiT to purchase HDMI cable and found bin full of them clearance priced at $14.95. At the checkout, however, I was told that it cost $29.95 although price on package itself clearly stated $14.95. After short argument I had to leave merchandise, but I took photo of it and of store manager that was wery inconsiderate and stuborn. Winnipegers save yourself aggrevation, there is many fair retailers that acctually deserve your bussines.

Terrible service, didn't honor price match policy and many of there products seem to be refurbished. Avoid buying expensive electronics from there. If you do a little research guaranteed you'll find a better price.
