Pesticon Pest Control

I truly lucked out when I contacted Pesticon and spoke to the owner, Waheed Ahmed. We should have called him a year earlier instead of trying to deal with the problem ourselves. (We had acquired cockroaches that came in on contents from an estate.) Not only did we think the cost reasonable but Waheed was able to arrive soon after I spoke to him and was very professional & pleasant. In very little time Waheed carefully explained what he was going to do & use and was done. He was very thorough and we haven't seen any sign of the roaches in over a year. Now I am going to call him about our carpenter ant problem! Thanks again Waheed!

I live in a cockroach infested apartment and it seemed that no matter what I did I couldn't get rid of them. I continually had the management spray the apartment and it never helped. Finally I had enough and started calling independent exterminators. Pesticon was the only one that answered right away and said they would be in there the next day! He came in and got rid of them spending a good hour making sure it was done up to standards. Because of my building and people constantly moving in, I started seeing a couple a month or two later and he came in again, no charge, and got rid of them totally. I haven't seen one since and I am so happy! Call him!

I had a tenant (or former tenant) in my basement that somehow brought bedbugs. Scary! Somehow the current tennat had lived with them for a while and didn't even tell me until it had gone on for a month or two. Don't ask why?? Immediatly on hearing this I googled pest control, read about bedbugs and found my way to Pesticon. As it turned out it wasn't horrible and Waheed came and sprayed which seemed to solve the problem. When that tenant moved out I asked if he would come back and have a look just to be completely sure. While there was a six month guarantee I couldn't claim I saw any more bugs. But Waheed came by, searched around said I looked clean. But he did put "dust" in all the cracks just in case to make 100% sure. And he left without charging me a cent.
Hopefully I won't need to see him again! But if I do I will certainly have him back. He was polite and efficient, showed up on time, and took full responsibility for the success of the job.

To my horror, I discovered I had bedbugs in my 1 bedroom apartment last July. After reading a news article that featured Waheed, as well as seeing the great reviews here, I decided to call Pesticon to fix the problem.

Waheed was quick to respond and was able to come treat my apartment the next day. He kept a low profile and was very calm and informative. He was quick to respond to phone calls and emails whenever I had a question.

It's been almost a year now and there has been no sign of reinfestation.

we had an issue in the basement, which he took care of. since the spray (3 weeks ago) I have not seen any centipedes around. thank you, I could sleep with ease at night now

We discovered, to our great horror, that there were bedbugs in my son's bed. To make matters worse, we discovered this at 10 p.m. the night before we were to leave on a two-week family vacation. Though it seemed absurd, we decided to call someone that night. As you would expect, we got answering machines until to our total surprise, Waheed at Pesticon answered the phone. He listened to our situation, made some adjustments to his schedule and arrived at our house first thing the next morning. He explained the situation, made his recommendations (which admittedly seemed extreme at first), and gave us directions on how to prepare for his treatment process. It was difficult work, but Waheed was very clear throughout -- putting the effort into doing it properly is the only way you will succeed. In the end, the experience cost a lot of money in furniture replacement, laundering services, etc. but Waheed stayed true to his very reasonably quote. Throughout, Waheed was direct, frank, and realistic. This allowed us to make the right decisions, some of which were very difficult. His commitment, professionalism, and expertise allowed us, in the end, to get rid of our problem. Bed bugs are a nightmarish thing to endure. They require a serious, professional approach. That is what Waheed brings, and I would highly recommend him to anyone going through this dreadful ordeal. Thanks to Waheed, we're coming up on a year of sleeping soundly in our home, knowing we are bug-free.

Waheed is a pro and his service matches his expertise. On a long weekend he was at the house within hours to deal with carpenter ants. He was also sensitive to the fact we have young kids in the house and explained the chemicals used and how to keep safe around them. While of course I hope never to need him again, if another pest problem arises, he will certainly be my first phone call.

While knocking out drywall of an exterior wall, I discovered contaminated insulation. I further discovered a live wasps nest behind the vapor barrier.

Panicking as a it was the Victoria Day long weekend, I tried calling Pesticon. Waheed promptly answered, and said he would arrive in a few hours.

Sure enough, he did. I showed him my problem, and he got rid of everything in the drywall INCLUDING the wasps nest. He also found the small entry point, which he showed me so that I could temporarily seal it up with some expanding foam.

I also explained to him the other non-urgent pests around the home. He will return in a few weeks to work on those as well.

He put my fears to rest, explained everything thoroughly, assured me that no other wasps were in other drywall cavities - all on a long weekend. What a guy.

He's extremely knowledgeable, and it shows how much he know about each type of pest.

I give him 10/10 for his professional emergency visit today.

Initially found a nest in the house 2 years ago during renovations - Waheed was very professional & quick to dispatch. He was also extremely good about answering questions about the chemicals involved, which I appreciated.

Had another issue needing attention this year & did not hesitate to call him back.
