Moving

We have used this movers twice in the past year and they were on time, courteous and careful. They were also the best price around. We paid far less than what another company quoted. Use them, they are great!

Move

I received great service from this company. The movers were there on time and finished my move when they had expected to. Contrary to what the review above notes, all of my delicate items arrived to my new place in perfect condition. I even had a very old china cabinet that I know weighed a ton and it was delivered in perfect nick. Would highly recommend.

Moved from a 2bdrm apartment to a townhouse

Woodbine Moving and Storage was amazing! They made every effort possible to accommodate me. From my last minute request for movers (they were able to book my move in 2 days), to helping me with some last minute packing (two of the guys started loading my boxes into the moving truck, while one guy helped me pack and label stuff), to my furniture not fitting through my new home's front door (they removed the sliding glass doors in my kitchen, moved my larger pieces through that entrance instead and made sure everything was back in place before leaving), all the way to the end where they made sure all of my boxes and furniture were in the correct rooms. I will be sure to recommend them to all of my family and friends.

moved contents of 2 houses for me

The owners were on time, worked hard and didn't waste any time but a lot of the mostly antique furniture was scratched or damaged. Two cameras disappeared. Value of about $ 1200. Broken glass on pictures etc. They employ people who are not interested in taking care. I would never recommend them.

Moved a 2 bedroom condo from storage to a home

I have never had such a bad experience in my life. Not only did they show up at the wrong location, but the owner Denis had the nerve to yell at my wife because they were at the wrong place.

Then they broke the leg off our dinning room table. Then, they decided to remove the remaining three legs, and not return the screws. We went three days without the screws - and when they finally returned them, they didn't return them all.

i do not recommend this company AT ALL. They are rude and irresponsible.

3BR Move to Storage

After reading dozens of review sites on Toronto movers, I decided last year to try out Woodbine to move our stuff from the Annex out to a storage until by the 401. 3 guys showed up - on time - with a big truck and carefully loaded everything very quickly. I then met them at the storage unit where they recommended a smaller unit to save money promising they could fit everything in - which they did! I ended up saving about $1000 last year due to their advice. Plus, the move was done in under the time allotted and very carefully - we have quite a few antiques. I was very happy - my only disappointment was that they were fully booked up when I tried to reserve them again this year to move the stuff to my new place!

MOVING COMPANY

Woodbine Movers provided me with the worst customer service I have every received! I was originally told that the move would take "less the two hours" it took over 6 hours. They sent an employee who to his own admission had never moved anyone ever before and It was his first day.-He carried one box at a time and put there boxes in the elevator instead of loading it( to his defence his supervisor gave him no direction at all). The managed to break 5 legs off of my sofa set, and rip the front fabric of the arm chair. After the move when we noticed the damage we contacted the company, who did go to the store and replace the legs( only to find out they had known they had broken during the move but did not notify us). They sent a repair man to look at the fabric who informed us that it would be very noticable to patch it. The owner of the company came later in the week with glue and popcicle sticks(like it was a kindergarden art project)to fix it him self. When I informed him that was not acceptable, he said " he tried" ...worst service DO NOT USE WOODBINE MOVING IF YOU WANT YOUR ITEMS IN ONE PIECE!

Moving

Moved from 2 1-bedroom apartments into 1 two bedroom apartment located on the 2nd & 3rd floor of a house. The team showed up right on time and brought along an extra person given the amount of stairs that would be required. It was explained that the extra person was $X more and hour but that the cost should wash with the savings in time. I was really happy that we went with a 4 person team instead of 3.
The team worked their butts off and were very professional. My couch and chair would not fit into the house or between the houses so the team started knocking on doors asking people of we could put the couch over their fences. Ended up going over two fences and hoisting the couch and chair onto our 2nd floor deck and had to remove the patio doors to get them in. Not a single scratch or tear at all. I was very impressed.
Cost was pretty much what they estimated it to be and would have been even less if we could have gotten the couch in the front door. No complaints at all. We choose a professional moving company cause we knew that the couch may be a problem. Their price per hour was only marginally more expensive then the 'cheap' movers and worth every penny.
