Whiteshark cleaned my eaves. They weren't very familiar with a slate roof and needed some additional coaching on where they could and could not step. overall the eaved were cleaned.
Historic house
Called white shark to schedule eaves cleaning for my house. Asked them if they know how to deal with cleaning eaves on a historic house with a slate roof (you can't walk on them) and copper eaves. "no problem sir, we work on them all the time".I told the two guys who showed up NOT to walk on the room and that they're going to have to work off ladders only. I also asked them that if it was not something they were willing to do that they should not do the job and I'd pay them $40 for their troubles.
"we won't step on the roof sir, we'll work only from our ladders."
OK I thought.
10 minutes later i walk out to see how they're doing and low and behold they're walking on the roof. told them to get off the roof. Called white shark and complained.
the damage to the slate cost me $1800 in repairs. Whiteshark had the nerve to send me a bill. then call me repeatedly to pay them. I've sent them the roof report before they showed up (I maintain it annually) and the cost of the repair after. Still no response or resolution. they've finally agreed that I would not pay for the "cleaning".
Thanks White-shark for a job well...wait a minute... not so well done.
