taking money away from the customer
I was with the weed man last year.
I did not sign up for this year.
However, last week, I got an invoice for the service that I did not ask.
I called them and the rep. saying that they called my home and got a consent. I asked them a proof for my consent, they couldn't provide me one.
The rep said that manger would contact me. Hanve't heard anything from them.
I found that CTV winnipeg actually covered this story about automatic renewal. I guess the new coverage was not enough for the company to change their way of charging customer without any notice.
If you are with the weed man this year, please make sure you cancel the service before it gets renewed automatically.
If you are looking for a company, never start with the weed man.
The weed man actually force customers to pay without a proper consent.
