We bought an 8x10 area rug. Zach was very helpful in assisting us as to the proper size and quality of rug to meet our needs and budget They have a very unique selection at reasonable prices. Why buy a plastic machine made rug online when you can have a hand made wool rug, one of a kind, for the same price or a few dollars more?

Our first impression of W Studio’s amazing carpets was at the 2019 Interior Design Show. We met Zach there and had a lovely chat about the incredible carpets on display. My husband and I, recently retired, are tackling what we need to do to make our home inspiring and a place where we will live happily well into older age. As part of this we were looking for carpets to anchor furniture groupings in our great room and wanted to deal with a firm that offered innovative contemporary design and quality product. After meeting with W Studio Founder, Alan and Design Consultant Zach for several hours we came away with 3 stunning 8’ by 10’ W Artisan carpets: Laminous Jewel, Secret and Ribbons, all in wool/silk. Alan shared the story of his amazing journey from the beginning of his successful carpet design business and the attention to detail, craftmanship and quality that goes into the crafting of each carpet. These carpets delight us. We are very happy with our purchases and the exceptional customer service. I can not tell you how excited I was to be out on a mission this week looking for a chair in a popular designer area. I was driving and looked to my right only to see the most incredible carpets hanging in a window of a shop I was not aware of.
I forgot about the chair and pulled over to go in. It was as if I were back on vacation in a beautiful art gallery! These creations can not be called carpets, they are art!
I was approached by two lovely consultants and had such an experience. I wanted to stay, I couldn’t get enough, I thought the longer I stay I’ll absorb and be a little more objective, didn’t happen! It will take time to get used to the rich depth and creativity!
I bought a smaller piece to hang and will be heading back with my husband this weekend . Alan Pourvakil thank you for taking the time to show me your creations.

It was an absolute pleasure dealing with David at W Studio. His love of rugs is palpable, and his knowledge extensive. We were only looking for one area rug, but fell in love with one we didn't even know we needed. Both look wonderful in our new home.
