Not only are the staff unhelpful but rude as well. Was told the lights I wanted were out of stock and in order to bring my lights in I’d have to pay a deposit. Was told lights would be there in 2 days, I called THREE times on the day they were due and was told “give me your number I’ll call you back”. I received no call back. The third call I was finally told they were back ordered at the warehouse and they’d be in the following week. After explaining the electrician was booked and I couldn’t wait I was told I could pick them up at the warehouse (I thought they were backordered?!?). Fine, went to the warehouse to get them and the warehouse said the store never called, never ordered them and they had plenty in stock plus they make regular deliveries to the store. I had to call the store to make the balance payment before the warehouse would release them and as I’m paying for the privilege of picking up my own lights I explain to the sales associate that the warehouse never received the order. The sales girl told me I was rude after being caught in her story ( L I E) of being backordered .
They also told me that they had a full refund policy but the website clearly says they only offer store credit.
I try to give business to smaller local stores whenever possible but with staff, policies and drama like this with no “head office” to answer to it makes it hard to trust small business owners.
