We booked 2small men moving company in Victoria. We we're moving from Victoria to the Kelowna area thinking they would be good movers. However, quickly we found out this was a very bad idea. First, we had to pay a deposit of over $400 with an estimate. That was fine. Ian one of the head movers stated all of his years of experience and how good he was. This should have been one of our first clues this was a bad idea to use them. On the day of the move Ian showed up with one other guy to tag and move our 1 bedroom apartment. We stayed around to be sure everything was tagged and numbered correctly. We we're told our stuff would arrive between the 5th to the 7th of October. When we called once our stuff was packed they said it would arrive on the 6th. They told us for sure our stuff would be here on the 6th and our stuff didn't show up until the morning of the 8th. We had to call and bug them to find out where are stuff was. The movers finally showed up a son and a dad team. They we're excellent though the only good thing about our move. They first moved our bed in and our brand new box spring was ripped and torn and wasn't wrapped at all. We we're told our mattresses would be wrapped too. Then about 4 more things we're moved in and was damaged. The mover had to deduct from our last payment $100 to repay for the damages. Which isn't right. A few things were also brought in that wasn't ours but marked with our tags. This clearly is not right either. Finally after unpacking we have realized 2 bins are missing full of expensive items. We have phoned twice to speak with the manager Jason and was told he was going to for sure get our message. We have never heard back and it's been over a week now with no response. We would never recommend or use these 2 smell men with no hearts again. They are very unprofessional and have no right in not returning our calls when our stuff is missing still! Heck they could be using our expensive kitchen pots in which we had to go buy a new set due to these A's. We are extremely disappointed and upset with this so called moving company. We will continue to call but have no hope we'll get our stuff back now!
