I recommend Thur Construction without hesitation. I first hired Thur on the advice of a friend for an interior renovation involving new custom built-in cabinetry and fireplace mantel and surround in my living room. The work was of very high quality, including some tricky matching of existing hardwood flooring. The workers were scrupulous in keeping my house clean and tidy and the project was completed on time and on budget. I wish I had known about Thur Construction for my prior renovation - a lot of headaches would have been avoided. I now use Thur for all my home renovation and maintenance projects, large and small.

Charles Assels, who now runs Thur Const, & his trades, did a fabulous job - on budget, ahead of time & with lots of excellent suggestions. They are easy to work with & very accommodating. All this work was done while we were away over the winter, so lots of emails, pictures & conversations. We've used the company many times before and will certalnly use them again. Very satisfied.

Barry is great. He has done 4 projects for us and all have been excellent and on-time. He is a bit pricier than most, but you get what you pay for.

Barry is meticulous, organized and a pleasure to work with. When you work with Barry you WILL be on time... or as close to it as humanly possible. He gives you due dates for the items he needs from you so you are always prepared. He has an excellent relationship with his trades so you are guaranteed that they will show up on time and do the job. He directs you to the shops where he has discounts and passes the discounts on to you. He assures you your home will be maintenance free when he's finished. He is more expensive, but he is also completely reliable.
