Joe The Appliance Guy

We had a leak with our dishwasher. We were not sure what the source of it was so we found "theapplianceguy.ca" online and after reading a review on this review website, I spoke to a person named Joe. He came right over and found that a gasket became loose. In an hour he fixed it and all was perfect. I would highly reccommend this company.

We had a problem with our washing machine last night. I called Joe this morning and he stopped by in a couple hours. His experience and insight saved us a lot of money by avoiding us the trouble and costs to replace the washer.
Once here, he also fixed our mini fridge and didn't charge extra for it, only the part costs.
Not ever calling anybody else. Joe is the man. Thanks a lot, Joe.

I called Joe and within a few hours he was at my home fixing a grill that had recently stopped working. He took apart the appliance. After saying what he thought was the mostly likely problem and its solution, he put in a replacement part which he fortuitously had in his truck. This was all done within 30 min! Excellent service and solid workmanship.

Joe got to our house within 24 hours of first talking to him - and our oven is good as new! The inner glass on the door was cracked, and he not only had the part in stock, but was able to come by and get it fixed right away. He even gave me a chance to clean the inside of the glass while he took the door apart, and was a very friendly guy. He also had stock on a more minor fix and got it done while he was here - the switch for the oven light. For the glass, switch, and about an hour of his (and his younger apprentice's) time, we spent under $250 - not bad!

I'll definitely call him back if/when something else breaks.

Called Joe and found him to be very pleasant and engaging.Answered a couple of questions re nature of call, type of appliance,gave him a model# and he had the part in the truck;he happened to be nearby,asked if now was convenient(it Was),and he showed up just a short time later. My Fridge died a couple of days before Thanksgiving. I called our regular repair company, but they couldn't come out for a week, which was far too late. I called Joe and he was over in a few hours and he quickly confirmed the at the compressor was dead. It wasn't the news I was hoping for but I pleased with how quickly he arrived and how quickly he diagnosed everything. He even carries parts in his car which most repair don't seem to do any more.

Our whirpool refrigerator was feeling very hot to the touch. After doing some research on Service repair companies, I decided to go with the Appliance guy based on the reviews on this site. Joe was professional, knowledgeable and displaced excellent customer service!
I would definetly call him for future appliance repairs.

Joseph assessed the problem very quickly and it was decided that the repair would be too costly for the age of my dryer. He said that it would work on the second setting that was not the timer setting but the automatic one, and that it could work for another 10 years on this setting. He saved me the hundreds of dollars that it would cost to repair something that I would be able to use the dryer without. He did not just tell me that I needed a thermostate and a timer and do all the work unnessarily. He saved me the money to go toward my new dryer when I need one.

The Maytag fridge is only 4 years old and not fuctioning properly. Several repair people were unable to determine the problem. Joe, was able to determine the problem within a short period of time. He made the necessary adjustments and now the fridge is working.
I would recommend him, as he is professional, prompt and keeps you informed throughout the repair process.
