Avoid this builder at all costs! We could not have had a worse experience buying a home, watching it slowly get built (even after we eventually moved in), and dealing with this builder.
I could write a book, but some of the main issues we had dealing with Stafford:
- very long delays in construction but also in getting responses from their executives, site managers, and subs. Rude, dismissive, unprofessional, especially Stafford's own staff, and it was worse the higher up you went.
- Poor initial build quality overall with many dozens of poorly done fixes (or re-fixes) post-moving in, rude workers either showing up unexpectedly or missing times that were set. Not a great final product, either - shoddy workmanship from simple trimwork to electrical to cheap windows, etc.
- dealing with Stafford was extremely frustrating and in the end our family felt very disappointed and that we bought from a low-quality builder with a corresponding kind of experience.
