Sonoma Contracting just did a complete renovation of our basement including the addition of a bathroom and gas fireplace that effectively doubled the living space of our home. We chose Sonoma because of the reviews on Homestars and they did not disappoint. Mike is scrupulously honest and a great communicator. All of our questions and concerns were addressed promptly. His courtesy never wavered. The estimate was accurate and detailed. We knew what every deviation (extras we elected to add on) from that estimate meant so that there were no surprises on the final bill. Having heard so many horror stories of renovation costs spiralling out of control, Mike's precision about all matters financial was a huge plus. The entire Sonoma team was very skilled, professional and impressive. The result shows. The basement is GORGEOUS and was completed at a reasonable cost in good time. We would happily have them back.
