Sofa Unlimited Co

I checked out all the Furniture stores on United Blvd, and by far Lalji Home had the most helpful and non pressure sales staff I have ever encountered. The furniture I purchased is beautiful and most of it is made in North America. I would highley recommend Lalji Home.

We bought a leather sofa and loveseat from the Langley store. The sales rep was very nice and gave us a lot of her time. Then we had a bit of a problem with the back of the loveseat and discovered the Langley store had closed down. We called the North Van store and were very satisfied with the response and care they took in repairing our loveseat.

I bought a leather coach..told them I need it to be durable for a dog and for an apartment. Result was a sofa that scratched easily and was smaller than a standard apartment sofa and looked ridulous. Called back imediately when it was delivered. They refused to do anything. After about 6 weeks of calling..they finally took it back on a store credit but I lost 40% of the value of the couch. The sales manager was the only one who was able to make this happen. The owner was not willing to do anything and was very nasty to deal with. I am happy with the couch new couch now, but it cost me a lot in the end. They are now Lalji Home.

My husband and I recieved a sofa, chair and ottman as a wedding gift. We were able to pick out the set and this was very pleasant and easy to do. Out sales rep was very imformative and helped us pick the right set and fabric for out lifestyle. ( dog and children). We definatly reccomnend visiting the show room and talking to the sales people there. However, when our items were delivered, there was a mix up somewhere in the warehouse and we were set items that did no match. This mistake was not handled very well and we realy felt there was some customer servive lacking. No one every called us we always had to call the show room, the mananger or the wearhouse directly. We did get the correct pieces sent to us, but it was a stessful process. If someone had caled us in the begining to assure us we would be getting the right pieces we would have been mutch more satified.

We went to the Langley store location which is apparently run and staffed by one individual. We ordered a sofa and chair we loved - the price was good, not cheap, but reasonable. The furniture was being made in Montreal and would be delivered in 6-8 weeks as is typical. Except that after 9 weeks we hadn't heard anything, and after contacting her she said it got lost and would be delivered when it showed up. Then she proceeded to not even answer her phone at the store for the next 3 weeks!! When it was FINALLY delivered she promised to bring us back a gift the next day to make up for it....we never heard from her again.

The furniture itself, however is great!!
