Sears

I am very pleased with the quality of the sofa set i got 6years ago. I paid quite the money for it but its still alive and kicking! i was debating if i was going to purchase a cheaper brand of sofa but my dad gave me a lot of convicing for to go for quality over something that is cheaper but does not last as long. I bought the black leather sofa set for 5! it still feels like its brand new and the leather still looks like i just opened it out of the box!!!

When I bought my tank at Sears, it came with a 9 year warranty, which I thought, covered everything. After 1 year, the tank leaked. Not only was there no hot water in the dead of winter, but I woke up with a flooded basement! I made an appointment with Sears to have the tank repaired. After the repairman came, I was told that the tank couldn't be repaired but had to be replaced. There was an additional $200 charge because the warranty did not cover replacement! I was very disappointed. My disappointment was exasperated by the fact that they replaced my original tank with a smaller one! If I wanted the same size, I would have to pay more! Bottom line - read the warranty and any contracts. You may not be covered the way you thought.

The carpet purchased was installed very professionally. The carpet has been installed for 2 years and looks like day I first purchased it. Other than clean up after the installation I am very pleased with my choice.

Frequently we have called to have one of our appliances repaired only to be told no one is available for several weeks. Our dishwasher was broken and we didn't get anyone to come for several weeks and when they did come they had to order a part from torono, another 2 weeks and then didn't install it properly so we are still waiting for the part...there's a labour dipute on. This was first called in on August 19th. They also fixed the washing machine and 2 weeks later it was broken again.......still waiting.

I had a hot water tank installed. They managed to work around a couple of problems (tank too tall, main shutoff not working) but a few things weren't great, in my opinion. One, they kept setting off my smoke alarms (they are supposed to bag them while soldering); two, they just showed up without booking an appointment, it was quite confusing. In the end, though, it works and I'm happy with the tank.

Very helpful. Prepared to reduce price when product arrived damaged. Free take away of previous appliance. Good follow-up.
