Unreliable Service and False Advertisement

SafeTech system failed not once but three times and SafeTech failed to deliver on their part of the deal to provide monitoring services for my store. We have motion detecters installed by a SafeTech technician that failed to sense an attempted break in at my store, two rocks thrown through the window were not detected by the motion sensor. The burglar in his attempt drops a human sized mannequin right under the motion sensors nose and it fails again, we only found out about the incident next day.

Upon bringing up the issue with SafeTech from the very first call all we got was shifting responsibility and denial. Than SafeTech contacted us to inform us that their motion sensors that are advertised and sold as motion sensors are not motion sensors at all they are heat detecting sensors. Further instead of accepting their failure and fixing the situation they wanted to take further advantage of us by charging 180$ to install a glass break sensor. I told SafeTech their system failed 3 time consecutively and that they should just instal the sensor for free. The answer we got was that there is no way they will instal for free and that we had no choice to accept the reality that they mislead us with false advertising of motion sensors because we have 3 year binding contract and there is nothing we can do to get out of it. And if we want to have a glass break sensor we will have to pay for it. SafeTech has completely failed us and refused to do anything about it and are hiding behind fine print in the contract. We are paying for monitoring system that does nothing at all. They charge us ever 3months for zero service. Total cost of damage on the store was over 5000$.

Currently looking for legal help to get out of this contract.
