I'm a contractor myself, listed elsewhere on this site. I had my door installed today (Jan 10 /07)
I called for an estimate, and Gail came out, on time. She was very helpful, and the price was fair and in line with other quotes. I gave her the go ahead.
3 weeks later, as I was told the waiting period would be, Dominic called to do the door the next day. He told me that my cars would have to be out of the garage. The problem was that it was going to rain the next day, and since both cars had been put into storage for the winter, I did not want to get them wet. Dom volunteered to schedule the job for a dry day the following week, and would call ahead. He did exactly this, which gave us the time to push the cars out of the garage.
As a last minute concern, I asked if they could raise the track a bit so I could install a lift in the garage.
Well, I came home that night to find the door installed, the track raised, and everything working perfectly. My son was home and offered the installers a cheque, but they said not to worry they would mail an invoice.
Totally satisfied.
