Our house is a typical Toronto semi with the usual combination of flats and shingles. The job involved removal of many layers from the flats and a single layer of shingles. Jake's quote was done quickly, was concise and complete, and was extremely competitive. Communication about the start date was accurate, effective and ongoing. The job was quickly completed as quoted, as Rosman have all the required tools to streamline the process. The crew were a pleasure to have around and took amazing care of surrounding garden, cleaning up each night. Jake was present thoughout the whole job, working with the crew, and provided excellent communication and feedback to us. Unexpected minor roofing issues were dealt with effectively and at no extra cost. We have zero lingering doubts about the job and are extremely satisfied.

A few weeks ago,when it was windy, I lost some shingles from my roof. My second floor tenant noticed some water coming through the light fixture. I called another roofer that had done some work next door, they called back and siad they would come over on a specific day and time. They didn't show and I couldn't reach them again.

I was driving down my laneway when I saw Jake coming from his truck. I stoped and explained to him what had happened. He told me he had some things to do and would get back to me that night. At 8:00PM jake called back, stopped by my house, it was late and we couldn't see anything. Jake said if it wasn't raining in the morning be would come by before heading to and another job.

In the morning at 7:30AM, Jake called. He came over with a co-worker, found the missing shingle location and repaired my roof before it started raining again. The whole exprience was great. Jake was a man of his word, honest, dependable and reliable.

Being first time home buyers we were stressed about the idea of somehow finding a reputable and reliable roofer - especially considering we are new in town. After getting quotes from numerous companies, not limited to but including Better Contracting and Avenue Road, the thought of having to pay upwards of $30k was unappealing to say the least. We contacted Jake on a reference from a friend. From start to finish he was considerate, professional and accommodating. Unlike the other companies we spoke to Rosman does not sub out their work – Jake sells the service and physically does the work (along with his team – his father included). The pride in his work showed. Our only concern was the cost. How is it possible that his quote can come in $15k-$20k lower than the others more “known” companies? That was our biggest hurdle – getting over the cost and believing that he could do a good job for the amount estimated. We have both flat and slanted areas of our roof. He repaired them, replaced some plywood were needed, upgraded our roof hatch (for the rooftop patio) and even trimmed the trees around our house (at no additional charge I might add). His team was in and out in three days and left our yard spotless. We have been through a few rain days since and are still bone dry. It’s nice to actually enjoy the sound of rain as opposed to having to dread it previously. No leaks. We whole-heartedly recommend Jake and Rosman Roofing. Thanks!

We got an estimate within days of calling (which was ALOT less than the big name companies like Alpine or Avenue Road). He set up a start date, and called to give us updates when the weather affected his schedule. The roofing team was friendly and they cleaned up every day. There was definitely more work than Jake expected, but he kept to his estimate. We were/are very happy with their service

After purchasing an old home, we found out that the old roof was in worse shape than originally thought and we had to find a company to remove many layers of old shingles as well as install two large areas of flat roof. We hired Rosman Roofing in the summer of 2007 to do the job and were VERY pleased with the results! Jake and his father were incredibly honest and hard working and got the job done as per the agreed upon schedule and price. They spent a lot of time answering our roofing questions and helping us pick the shingles that were of the best quality and would look the best on the house. I had a new flat roof put onto my house in the east end of Toronto. I had checked out a number of roofers and found this one gave the best price for the value. They did a fantastic job and were very friendly. No leaks to date.....
