Prompt response by representative who comes out and gives estimate. Easy installation process and usage. Good customer service for inquiries to their call centre. Prompt response by an ADT guard who came out during a false alarm. Easy to use security pad.

Our family has been using ADT for over 20 years, so when it was time for us to buy our own home, we went with ADT without any questions. It has a great monitoring system. Very reliable and we have had no issues in all these years (with the minor exception with change in battery). Of course it gave us plenty of warning that battery was running low. Good service, fast installation.

The gentleman that came by was very knowledgeable in all of the products and made recommendations to meet our needs. Once a plan was agreed to, he came back 2 weeks later with the necessary equipment and entire installation took less than 2 hours! very impressed with work done.

My friend recommended this company to me, and when I was considering using their service a consolitor came to my home. He asked if I am interested in installing ADT alarm system, and I said yes. Then he said right now it is on promotion. Without letting me thinking this guy came into my house and said here and there need an alarm. and also he took out an form and ask me to sign it off. I said wait a minite, and after I figure out what is the cost. It was much higher than my friend told me. definitely we have the similar situations.

I was not happy with this sale guy cuz he tried to convince me without telling me some hidden details.

It was already in our home when we purchased it so we just renewed it every year. Had it for 4 years now! great alarm system always so helpful with answering our million of questions!

When we bought the house, it already had an alarm system installed and monitored. However, we decided to change because of ADT's reputation. However, I have found the service less than perfect and it is like pulling teeth to get them to explain new advances or available products.

We used to be very happy with Reliance (back when they were Voxcomm) but since the takeover we have been very disappointed. Reliance employees often seem to be unclear who is on our call list and what steps they are to take when an alarm goes off. Recently I received a call for my sister's alarm a full half hour after Reliance had received the alert and they could give me no explanation as to why they took so long to call me. By the time I got to her house (2 min away) the police had already attended and discovered that it was the dog walker. My sister will now be billed for the police attendance which could have been avoided if Reliance had called me earlier. We recently had problems with our phone line and when I called Reliance and asked them to check if they still had our house on their system they told me that I would have to be in the house and physically test it in order for them to tell. I would like to think that if our phone and backup line disconnected they would know without me calling to tell them! Back when they were Voxcomm they were very reliable but now it seems like a roll of the dice every time we deal with them. Their technicians are great but the actual monitoring seems useless now. Our contract is up for renewal and after three years with them we will be looking elsewhere.

We were cold called by this company as we had a competitor's alarm system. Lee came and explained his company. We chose to sign up with him and the installer was available to come the next day to switch over our system. It was trouble free and this company is saving us $15 per month!
