An assisted review is collected by a contractor on behalf of the homeowner after their work is completed. The homeowner must confirm the text of the review and may make any changes she or he deems appropriate. The homeowner then assigns the contractor a review score out of 10. Assisted reviews receive the same scrutiny as other reviews and must follow our review guidelines.
My experience with NewRidge Refinishing was mostly positive. The work was done up to my expectations, the customer service was friendly, though a bit tardy. I was told that reinstalling the banisters when the job was finished wouldn't be a problem, but when I followed up to have that done, I got no response. Plans were made for the work to be done while I was out of town, but when I returned the stairs weren't finished and another day of work had to be arranged.

NewRidge - Scott:
Thanks for your review Oliver. I would like to apologize of the lack of communication in regards to the bannister. Although, Gabor is the lead for all communication after the job starts it would have been better if we were contacted at the office so we could make sure this was brought to Gabor’s attention immediately. Nonetheless it’s no excuse and I will bring this up with Gabor the next time we speak. Thanks again for choosing our services.Oliver Replies:
Thanks for letting me know. Gabor was great to deal with on all matters other than this. Just to let you know. And we're very happy with having had the stairs refinished.
