Nanette came to my house and gave lots of helpful advice on my main floor. I needed help to replace a flowery couch and chairs but still go with a country dining set I just can't part with. Nanette met me at a furniture showroom and helped me make great choices that will update my home and at good prices. We also met to choose wood flooring. I really enjoy dealing with Nanette. She's friendly yet professional and has lots of great ideas I would have never thought of.

In one sentence, having met Nanette was a true blessing: she is professional and yet tries her best to work WITH you - she really understands what you are looking for! As soon as you meet her, you will feel her charming and warm energy. I am a first time condo buyer and was overwhlemed with everything and didn't know where to begin. She helped me SO MUCH and really she saved me LOTS of money that would have been wasted if I had tried to do everything alone!

She really works within your budget ( no I did NOT have money to burn!) and NEVER pushy! She does NOT overcharge you and doesn't make you feel bad about having a tight budget.

She truly helped to change my condo a true "home". I LOVE coming home and also love showing off my place to people - they say WOW :)

We were very impressed by the efficient and professional way that Nanette handled the project. Her creative skills were superb. Contractors that she recommended did an exceptional job in a timely manner. The project was also brought in on budget. We would be delighted to recommend her to anyone who needs this type of project done. In addition she and all of her tradesmen were very pleasant and enjoyable to work with.

We are doing a full renovation of our first floor and basement, and also finishing the floors and updating the exterior for the entire house. I have my own ideas about small details, but when it came to picking the large items (flooring, countertops, kitchen cabinets, exterior colour) I was really hesitant. I worried that I'd pick something that I thought was beige, and it would end up looking pinkish or greenish. Equally, I didn't want to play it so safe (all beige, taupe or off white) that everything was bland and boring. Nanette met me at a Cameo/Ciot/Taps and immediately used my input to hone in on specific cabinets, flooring and countertop. We went back to our house, where we finalized the decision on hardwood flooring (after looking at several options against existing dark wood trim). At our request, Nanette came back a second time to spend ~ 1hour on lighting - very important for our old house, particularly in the basement. I'm really pleased with where we have landed on all the major decisions. I never would have thought of the 'slate-look porcelain' we're going with for the floor on my own, but I think it is going to look fabulous - timeless and interesting. I have already recommended Nanette to many other friends and will continue to do so.

We hired Nanette to help us with colours again (she knows our taste!), and again she did much more than that. Her suggestions for lighting and flooring were great as were her referrals. We love the floor! Melvin was helpful and Kevin was the most professional and accommodating contractor we dealt with; I’ve already recommended him to a neighbour.

After meeting with several interior designers with no luck, I was starting think that no one would be willing to work with me within the scope of my limited budget. But once Nanette was up to the challenge!

Nanette was wonderful to work with, and not only worked within my budget, but gave me advice on how best to invest what we have. I know that I can trust her advice and when we have the finances to do more, she'll be the designer I call.

In addition to her overall professionalism, the ideas she gave me for my space were fabulous and combined what's on the forefront of design with my personal style. She gave me ideas for our space that I wouldn't have thought of myself - that's why I called an expert. What I wanted was a plan that built on what I've already done that will take us to the next step, and I got that and more. Nanette is fantastic.

Moving into my first condo opened up a whole world of difficult choices - furniture, paint, fixtures, etc - all of which proved daunting, especially considering the money I was investing.
Nanette helped take the pain out of those decisions, offering helpful and invaluable suggestions, pointing me in the direction of those who could carry the jobs I needed doing, and encouraging me to think outside the box.
She was also a great listener, taking my ideas on board, incorporating the good ones and steering me away from my more outlandish contributions.
While my condo is still a ways away from being 'complete', at least I know the direction I am heading in, and like many home renovations, the only thing holding me back are my finances!
Nanette was a joy to work with and I would readily employ her talents again and recommend them to friends.

Nanette has a great eye for design and colour. Her approach is so friendly and helpful; it made planning the project so much easier. I recommend her to friends and clients all the time.

We recently moved into a new home which is a new build, it is much larger than our previous house so we need lots of furniture and art. In addition, there is nothing but "builders beige" in the house so we wanted to add some color, create an inviting space to entertain and add some character.
Working with Nanette so far has been great, I immediately felt very comfortable with her and could see that she understood what we were trying to accomplish.
She has been really helpful in making suggestions and giving advise yet she is not pushy. She let's you lead and make decisions (if you want) but has really good eye for color and design. Most importantly, she won't let you make mistakes.
Nanette also appreciates your budget, she will make suggetions to save money when possible and advise where you should invest.
My husband was sceptical of hiring someone in the beginning but she easily won him over with just a few really wonderful new pieces of furniture and rugs. We have been very happy with what has been done to date and I am confident we will create a fabulous cozy space within our budget. Thanks Nanette!
