My baseball-crazed teenage son was taking practice swings in the living room on the day before Christmas Eve when the bat slipped from his hands and went right through our front window! I felt a flash of panic. Who's going to fix it when the holidays are just about to begin!? I called around. I got the voicemail for one place, and the next guy was closed until January. Not Mount Pleasant Glass & Mirror. They agreed to send someone to look at it that same afternoon, and arrived when they said they would. The nice lady in the office called a short time later with a reasonable quote and we gave them the green light. They arrived on Christmas Eve morning and fixed the interior window on site. They took the storm window to the shop to fix, and returned the first Monday after Boxing Day to re-install it. The total bill was actually less than the original estimate, including HST! We'll be dealing with these fine folks again. We were told that if you purchase windows (and they can recommend suppliers), they will install them -- and you could end up saving money.
