Milorad Tiling

Milorad came to visit the site, gave a quote, and returned to complete an excellent job within 5 days from end to end. We are very happy and would highly recommend!

I did a kitchen renovation and contacted Milorad to do my backsplash. From that first meeting, I could feel how trustworthy Milorad was. So I decided to go forward with him (without getting other quotes).

Milorad demolished my old backsplash, fixed the drywall and installed the new tiles perfectly. During all this, he properly covered all my key areas (as to not damage as well keep things neat) and neatly cleaned up the workspace at the end of the day.

The most impressive aspect of Milorad was how patient he was. We used natural stones and we were figuring out how to best match various tile patterns. He never rushed us and made sure we were comfortable with how things were going to look in the end.

Looking at my backsplash now is a night and day difference. The tiles looks amazing and are perfect...all the cuts...all the joins, etc.

I would easily use Milorad again for any future tile work.

Milorad came after a previous tiler had made a mess - for a second time. After half a dozen other tilers came by to give quotes, Milorad arrived and impressed us with his fair pricing and clear explanation of the timeline, process and materials required. Then COVID19 hit, and we respectively went into self-isolation. He reassured us that once it lifted, we would be the priority job. And we were. It took only a day or so more than predicted but we could not be happier with the job and the gentleman who executed it.

We have no hesitation in recommending Milorad for tiling work. Eight years ago we had him do two bathrooms with built in floor heating, complicated showers including niches and basketweave patterns. We thought he was so good and diligent in his work. We were lucky to have found him. However, we were so busy we didn't give him a review at the time. We felt bad as he truly deserved an excellent review. Time passed and we forgot to give him the great review he deserved. When it came time for us to do a major renovation of our kitchen, powder room and front hall we wanted to replace our old tiling. We were very happy to be able to have Milorad do this work. He has finished this work and it is great. Attention to detail. Fair. Fun to have on the job. He has real pride in the work he does. We were so lucky to have found him 8 years ago and to be able to have him do work for us again now. Once our countertops are installed we look forward to having him return soon to do the backsplash.

I contacted 5 tile installers from HomeStars. Three of them asked me to email photos of the project. Two of them visited my house to look at the project. Milorad was one of them and he spend 90 minutes in his first visit. He answered all my questions and explained clearly the particulars of the tile installation. There was a window, shower niche, and profiles that needed to be sorted out. He also answered questions about thin set mortor, grout, and self-levelling cement. After I offered him the job, he visited again to review all the details of the job, including schedules and materials. On his first day, Milorad set up his equipment and always kept my house clean, including laying down drop sheets in the hallways. Near the end of the job, I unexpectedly ran out of tiles. The new supply of tiles took 10 days to arrive. This was out of my control as I had already purchased more than enough. In any case, Milorad was very professional about this situation. In the meantime he started another project and returned to my house to complete the job. Overall, Milorad was very professional and respectful about our working relationship. I noticed that he is very committed to and invested in his work, and seeks approval from his clients.

Milorad does fantastic work. He is meticulous, hard working and his results are proof of this. He did herringbone tile for our mud room with a heated floor and it turned out better than we had hoped for. On top of his work he was kind, courteous and professional. His rate was also more than fair. We are extremely happy. We have already recommended him to friends and family.

Milorad did a fantastic job on our new marble Backsplash. He arrived at the time he committed to each day and worked none stop without a break until the job was done. He cleaned up every day. The finished product is beautiful. We would highly recommend him.

From the moment he walked into our apartment to give us a quote, to when he left, he was unfailingly respectful, professional to a very high standard and delivered completely and everything he said he would do. He brings all needed materials such as grout and glue, had a very tidy workplace in our kitchen, put up sheets to keep out dust in the rest of our home and was exceptionally well prepared bringing up his tools and leaving the same way.
