Right from the get go I knew I wanted to hire this company. Tom came when he said he would, explained exactly what they would do, went on the roof and gave me a quote. There was absolutely no pressure which I like.
the workers were great, very professional and hard working. After the job was done Tom again went on the roof to check the job.

Tom was the first to give me a estimate. I felt comfortable from the very start. It proved to be a good choice as his crew did a incredible job from start to finish. They were all professional. They worked as a team solely concentrated on finishing the job. They covered my new deck with tarps and protected my doors with plywood. They left the job site just as they found it. No debris left any where. I noticed that they had a deep respect for Tom and that showed me that Tom treats his crew well. Hence they will do a good job.

Their price came in around the middle of the pack which I thought was fair. During the project he noticed that the skylight was on its last legs but didn’t push to replace. He sent pictures and we thought, while we are at it let’s get it done. He went out and got it right then and put it in.

Friday afternoon, March 20, 2020, following high winds earlier in the day, my wife discovered several pieces of shingles on our driveway. A quick look up at the roof revealed a small patch of bare roofing boards. I contacted a roofer that had been recommended to me, he could not be here for four days, tried another, who was too far away. Then a link to Home Stars popped up on my monitor. I completed the online questionnaire, detailing the problem and submitted it. Within minutes my phone range identifying the caller as MCR INC. The caller identified himself as Tom from Mega City Roofing. I explained the problem. He replied that he could drop over the next day about 12:30 and the cost would be $200.00. The next day, he arrived promptly at 12:45, a quick inspection revealed that a raccoon had torn off a few shingles in an attempt to gain access to the attic.
Tom repaired the damage using two spare shingles that I had on hand. he inspected the entire roof and made two more minor repairs. He inspected the entire roof and assured me that it was in good shape and not in need of replacement. The job was more involved than I had described; Tom stuck to his original price which I topped up .
This is one honest roofing professional who knows the business and does top quality worked. He is GAF Certified Roofing Contractor. GAF is the premium make of roofing materials in North America. I have been a home and cottage owner for close to 50 years with experience replacing a number of roves over the years; I soon determined while talking with Tom that Mega City Roofing Inc. is a company that I would recommend to anyone without hesitation. Tom and his team were amazing. I had a flat roof that needed to be fully replaced. His team came in, assessed what needed to be done and within a week fully replaced the roof for me. He was on time, great to communicate with and did a great job. He also patched up my top roof for me to fix a leak.

I was fortunate to find Tom after using several different roofers. Tom is an excellent diagnostician and has a vast amount of roofing knowledge and experience. He is punctual, reliable and professional. Tom made sure to clean out my plugged flat roof vents on the day of the inspection so to avoid problems that could have resulted from the major rain storm coming the next day. He came back the following week and to replace a flat roof-mounted dryer vent that was not the proper kind and was damaged and two flat roof bathroom vents that were not venting properly due to a previous poor installation. I would definitely use Tom again and would recommend him to others.

Mega City Roofing roofers completed a roofing job for the back-side of my house a few years ago and performed a fantastic job. A few weeks ago we linked in with Tom to get the front done. Tom went above and beyond by making himself and his crew available the next day! Their efficiency and organization goes to show they are at the top of their roofing game. I contacted Mega City Roofing regarding a roof leak on the main roof. Tom (the owner) came out personally to fix it. There were loose shingles due to the high winds the day before. He helped re-nail them and apply a sealant all around suspect areas and the leak stopped. Although we were holding off on replacing the shingles on our addition, with the roof leak and winter coming up fast we wanted to be proactive. We received a fair quote from Tom and we decided to have him and his crew handle it as well. They arrived promptly, completed the job on time and also their clean up was spotless! The roof leak on the main roof did manage to re-occur but Tom suspected the roof vents and he quickly took care of it. It is now January and there has been no leak since November. I would recommend Mega City Roofing for all of your roofing needs!
