TIP: buy and pre-pay online. They will give you a pick up time, and all you do is go to front of the line with your receipt and you are outta there in a flash (even before the green hornet writes up your parking ticket for stopping illegally on King St W). This is a killer idea for Xmas as the Rosedalers show up in droves and the lines move but are excruciatingly long. VIP service!

Lee Valley is the place to go for great selection in little pieces of hardware such as knobs, handles, drawer sliders and all those little things. The store is also full of carpentry tools, which are a little pricy for the average carpenter, but are really neat to look at. They had the sliders and handles for our little project - cool and modern, and sliders that worked well.
