Ken Temple Contracting Ltd

We did a major renovation with Ken Temple over 7 months. He was really good for the first six months. Then he completely disappeared. Did not return calls or emails for weeks on end. Then a few months after work was finally complete, poorly done new plumbing from the second floor bathtub flooded through the floor and damaged the first floor ceiling and fixtures. He refused to deal with it in any way, broke the contract (specifically, he did not stand by his one year warranty). Again, did not respond to any attempt at communication. We had to go to a third-party contractor to fix it, and we are now initiating legal action against Ken.

As a very last minute project, Ken and his crew came and fixed our deck, hours before an open house. They were quick, accomodating and very professional. I would not hesitate to work with them again.

Ken Temple and his crew installed my hardwood flooring in record time and with no delays or issues of any sort. The final result is a total transformation in my home - not to mention home value. I was fortunate to have Ken handle this small project for my home; he is a custom home builder - but I would recommend his team for any size project.

Ken is very experienced. He is able to talk to neighbours diplomatically. He has done several renovations for me. I am always very pleased with the quality of workmanship, his professionalism, and how clean the job site is left every day.

We've hired Ken 4 times over almost twenty years: bathroom reno, second story addition, front addition, garage removal. Polite, reasonably priced, conscientious. Job site cleaned thoroughly every day. Ken has a way of seeing the job in three dimensions; he keeps the customer in the loop throughout the job and makes suggestions, based on many years of experience, which really improve the project. The best tradesman we have worked with.

Ken Temple Contracting did an extremely poor job on our basement renovation and I would not recommend him to anyone. Details were overlooked, an 8 week job took over 20 weeks, and calls went unreturned for weeks at a time. Completely unreliable.
