Although I enjoy strolling through the ginormous store, I was extremely satisfied with their website catalogue. It allowed me to quickly find the exact furniture I needed to fit my cramped living room apartement. This made my shopping experience all the more enjoyable and efficient!
The store has lots of choices in styling, fabric and color. The one we got was the brown leather couch and the seats were super comfortable. Nice showroom which gives you idea of mixing and matching with other furnitures. Staff members were helpful and informative.
There wasn't a great selection for shelving units. I bought a couple of shelves even though I didn't really like them because they were too large and when I returned home to put them up on my wall I found out that they didn't come with screws included - something that wasn't clearly noted on the product at time of purchase.
Great style, easy installation, looks fantastic, excellent light, however, there needs to be better quality bulbs included. We have replaced 3 of 4 in a short time The replacement bulbs are very expensive, however, they do install rather easily!
I am from Europe, not that like Ikea makes me feel at home, I like the decorating ideas, the cost, the food section and a lot more - just a great experience!
Kitchen & Bathroom - Cabinets & Design review in
Vancouver
It was very convenient and easy to start off our project using the IKEA home planner. We were able to visualize exactly how the new cabinets were going to look like in the new kitchen space. In 3D format too! There were different products and colours to try out on the computer.
We appreciated the help and advice from the friendly staff. Delivery was good and installation was done well with 4 installers in less than a day. Overall, we were very pleased with the whole experience.
We selected and planned our new kitchen three years ago with Ikea in Coquitlam. We are very happy three years later with the classical look of the cabinets and the quality of the product. Once the installation of the cabinets was completed, the flooring, electrics and plumbing were completed in a timely fashion by the company we were recommended by the Ikea staff.
Bought a dresser from Ikea. The finish was great but the parts for the assembly did not quite line up and fit in to place properly. We had to improvise slightly with some carpenters tools.
I was looking for a shelving unit for my den, computer room. we had looked for a similar unit at a couple of other stores, but the service at Ikea was great. all the pieces are set up so you can get the whole picture.
My new condo master bedroom has very small walk in closet.
I was thinking about rubbermade closet organizer but I did not want to make holes on the wall and I wasn't sure how strong it is to attach them to dry wall. Also high rise condo uses alliminum studs instead of wood, so I did not want to drill them.
I bought clostset organizers from Ikea, but you have to buy individual parts and drawes and etc. This seems cheap at the begining but end up very expensive. It is cheaper to buy a drawer and shove it in the closet.
Approximate cost of services:
$250.00
