Complete kitchen gut and remodel
We were in desperate need of a kitchen remodel. The house was built in the mid 50's and nothing, other than some paint, had been done to this galley kitchen. The floors squeaked, the walls were covered with peel and stick tiles (former owners)and it was just depressing.
We heard that all we needed to do was take the measurements to Home Depot, give them our wish list and they would layout our new kitchen. We picked the cabinets, countertop and tiles that we liked, and with some tweaking everything that we wanted fit into the existing space thanks to Home Depot. Everything was ordered and our crew was booked. We have had terrible experiences with contractors in the past, so we were somewhat scepticle. The nicest man and his son showed up on a Monday morning and by that afternoon had completely gutted our kitchen, cleaned up everything and disposed of all the garbage. Before the end of the week, we had a new floor, walls, and cabinets installed, and the counter people had been to make their template. We did have to wait almost 3 weeks for the counter, however once it was installed our friendly father and son team were back to finish the back splash, install the sink and we now have the kitchen of our dreams. They even advised us on a new faucet, which looks great! I would not hesitate to bring these people back into our home for more renovations. They were extremely helpful and did an excellent job.
