recently I returned a 3.78 ltr. of paint the reason was I had the wrong texture Lynn Harris at return & Beverley in paint department they gave me an outstanding service professional & polite they made me feel welcome even knowing was my mistake . home depo is by far my favorite all round store thanks again Bev & Lynn

I was in Home Depot looking for some sort of material to cover the top of a 3 ft divider wall in the bathroom, where the paint was peeling and getting dirty. I asked an associate in tiling what would be the easy and decorative way to do this, and he suggested that I buy a piece of marble that they use for door thresholds and cut it to size and use a certain mastic to attach it to the top. He was very helpful and showed me where I could get all my supplies. So, for under $100 and about half an hour's time to cut the marble to size and to install it, I had a beautiful marble top for this little wall. I would recommend going to Home Depot to ask for advice for the inexperienced DIY'ers.

I installed good flooring- it scratched a lot--takes weeks before someone has a look. After calling the store constantly, they never call back until I talked to the store manager.

I saw a good shelving idea in the Home Depot flyer and went in to inquire about it. It turns out that it is a custom item and would cost more than I was willing to spend for this improvement. Peter suggested another do it yourself option that would be much more affordable and relatively straightforward to install.

this retailer has got to be the worst when it comes to customer service. when trying to get a deck plan maded I had to wait for almost 45 minutes to get any sevice (it is not my department)then the person that did show up did not know how to run the program. then after I finlly got the drawings the town would not accept drawings becuase of errors. so after getting my own drawings approved I could not fined any good quality material there. ended up going to rona that had for more knowlegeble staff anf far better lumber.

Having gone to this store over the past 10 yrs, I find the service in this store, and the stock lacking relative to other Home depots. I have used this store to purchase supplies and rent equipment. I will chose to go to other locations before this one, it just seems lacking.

A lot of their Pine select wood is stored poorly. Quality of wood is suspect. I find that many select wood looks the same as the cheaper notty pine. I find myself spending better part of an hour looking for the few nice pieces. Rona has better quality.

The staff were very helpful and cheerful in the paint department. They answered all of my questions and I will definitely return. The quality of paint is excellent and I will definitely return for my next adventure. I find all staff at this Home Depot very helpful.

Gave us needed info and instructions for our replacement and was helpful in giving us the correct size to fit the needs of our family therefore enabling us to complete our project in a timely and most welcome expected outcome

What started out as a relatively large project, re-doing the kitchen, then quickly turned into a renovation nightmare. Shoddy contractors led us to complete the job on our own, which in turn led us to Home Depot - the supposed king of everything reno. Yes, we were able to find all of the materials we required, but had to do this totally on our own. The amount of employees that are in Home Depot would lead you to believe that help is plentiful, but this was not our experience. We were always at a loss to find anyone free to help us with questions or concerns, often spending much more time than expected wandering the store for anyone wearing a smock.
In the end, we learned all we needed to know about renovating a kitchen, but never really want to do it again on our own.
