Romancing The Stone

Colin came late,and unprepared, forgetting to bring some tools. He didn't even bring a broom to sweep up. He gouged the adjacent wood floor with his machinery, re grouted, but didn't wait for it to dry before applying the sealer, so 3 weeks later the grout has all come off in chunks. I had him go over many spots that he missed, and still the finish is inconsistent. Took too long. Left a horrible mess behind.

I hired Colin to fix up a shoddy job done by loc-tite interlocking on a job they just completed. He did a great job. He phoned me and kept in touch with his schedule. He took his time to do a good job. He took my feedback well and corrected what I felt needed correcting until I was satisfied. It looks great. Thanks Colin.

hIRED THIS CONTRACTOR TO REGROUT AND SEAL CERAMIC TILE IN kITCHENFOYER AND BATHROOM.PRICE QUOTED SEEMED REASONABLE. HOWEVER WHEN HE STARTED THE JOB HE SAID THE GROUT WOULD NOT STICK IF HE DIDN'T DIG OUT SOME OF THE OLD GROUT AND THIS WOULD BE $100 MORE.tOLD ME THE JOB WOULD BE FINISHED IN 1 DAY. HOWEVER HE COULDNT FINISH BECAUSE GROUT WAS WET AND COULDNT BE SEALED. CAME BACK NEXT DAY TO COMPLETE BUT RAN OUT OF GROUTING COMPOUND AND SAID HE WOULD COME BACK THE NEXT DAY TO FINISH. UNFORTUNATELY I PAID HIM IN FULL. SINCE THEN HE HAS NOT RESPONDED TO PHONE CALLS AND NO DOUBT I WILL HAVE TO HIRE SOMEONE TO FINISH. DO NOT HIRE THIS PERSON!!!!!!!!!!!
