The service was okay and product prices were reasonable. The only thing we were not happy with was they did not tell us there would be a $25.00 Truck service charge added to the invoice when we booked the job.
This company did a fairly good job with the repair. Although they were a few minutes late, the quality of work was satisfactory and they provided me with professional advice. The cost was reasonable too and the repairman was kind and knowledgeable.
These guys have an amazing selection of plumbing supplies. I was referred to them by a plumber friend of mine for a hard-to-find shower faucet part because of their selection and expertise. The guy who helped me was able to help me find exactly what I needed and explained to me how to re-install it. Very helpful.
Hillcrest's service representative did not know how to solve a radiant heat problem. It cost $300. He said he didnt know how to set my thermostat and I should find a manual on line. My friend found the problem was a broken pump and I brought another company in to fix it. Hillcrest was not interested in hearing about this story and blew me off when I followed up.
Called Hillcrest for second opinion after first contractor said I needed to relocate my (16 year old) boiler from crawl space, and have it replaced. Hillcrest repairman spent 1/2 hour and replaced a 3" rubber hose. All is working fine now.
They were professinal plumbers and done their jobs very well. They were on time and done their job within the said time. They cleaned up the water tank area and took our old tank for recycling. The price was also reasonable.
Good customer service from the guys on site as well as when booking and did a good job on the maintenance as far as I could tell. No problems after that. They left info to follow up and were punctual and seemed to do job in a timely manner.
I have an older bathroom, not yet ready for renovation. The plastic faucet broke. I went around to a number of retailers trying to find a replacement with no luck. I wandered into Hillcrest at Main and they had it! Staff was helpful. I would go back!
I called to have a new hot water tank installed and the plumber showed up promptly and on time. The new tank was much larger than the old one and would not fit however the plumber (Pavel) returned later that day and rerouted the gas lines so that the new tank would fit. It was installed and back in service in a few hours. A lot of work and more expensive than I had planned but a very professional installation.
Water Filtration & Purification review in
VANCOUVER
I suddenly had no hot water and was stressed out. A quick phone call and visit to Hillcrest Plumbing and Heating Ltd. was all I needed. I live pretty close by so it was an obvious choice. The technician showed up on time and was ready to work. The project was completed quickly and cleanly. I hate when contractors track in tons of dirt. He had spent the time afterwards explaining to me what was broken and advised me of future maintenance that I should schedule.
Approximate cost of services:
$600.00
