Third floor apartment insulation flat roof, knee walls and walls.
Third floor, knee-wall, flat roof, using spray foam, pour foam, low density blown-in and high density blown-in insulation. This was a very complex job and was executed well. The knee-wall roof slopes and adjoining 2nd floor ceilings were spray foamed to seal this area. The remaining roof areas were tight packed blown-in. The outside wall which is just strapped over double brick and leaves little space for insulation was pour-foamed. A large space between a false wall and the outside wall was loose-packed blown-in. this will be the first winter to experience what the difference is but I think it will be dramatic. I am sure that Greensaver will correct any problems but I am not expecting any. This winter will tell. This work was done while the apartment was occupied and the workers were very careful with all of the personal items in the area.
