Declan was fantastic, we would not hesitate to recommend him and will use him as our electrician from now on. He installed a couple of new light fixtures, including one that was very complex, fixed our potlight problems and cleaned up other issues. He was efficient, careful, fast and did a terrific job.

In my home, the washroom fan was not working for a while. I thought that the fan was burnt or dead or it was simply just broken, but with the help of the expert from Green Isle electric, I figured out that there was a electrical wire problem. Thank you for solving the issue. I am very happy from the prompt and quick service they provided.

I purchased and older home a few years ago. I stared to do some renovation when I found that I had old knob and tube wiring in the home. I called a few places then called Connex. While on the phone mike was very helpful and knowledgeable about the problem. He came to due quote on a Saturday. His crew then came within days and completed the job. The crew was very friendly got right to work and cleaned up when they were done. I have since called Connex back again for out door pot lights which are perfect. I would highly recommend them for any electrical work. Thanks Connex for a great job.

During some repairs to our basement we had to remove and reinstall our electrical panel to remove the styrofoam that it was installed on (it was attracting termites).

Declan came highly recommended by friends who had used him to re-wire their entire home. He did not disappoint.

The job required him to come and uninstall the electrical panel, and then return in short order upon work being completed by our carpenter to reinstall the panel.

It was a small job, with the hassle of our carpenter needing approx. 1 hr of time to do his part in the middle of it. We also needed in done asap as it was holding up the rest of the project.

Declan came on short notice and was willing to work around our timelines. He made me feel like he knew his stuff and a year later their has been no problem with the work he completed.

I have already recommended him to a few friends and neighbours and everyone has been pleased with his work.

Declan is great!! He brought power to a couple areas in our home that have not had power before. The house is 100 years old. He's a skilled tradesman and is very knowledgable. He provides options when needed. Price is fair, shows up on time and is thorough. We'd highly recommend him.

Declan is a pleasure to deal with. His prices are fair, he shows up when he says he will, his work is good, and he cleans up after himself. I've hired him before and I definitely will again.

This review is long over due. Last spring we were having our attic re -insulated and the insullation company advised us to have an electrician check the wiring as they had safety concerns over what they saw. That lead me to contact Declan, Declan did work for me last spring to fix pot lights that were not working and replacing poorly wiired junction bexes , as well as re[ He was on time for both visits. He took the time to explain everything thoroughly that he found needed to be fixed and told me of hazards due to the pre-existing job that was done. He was very professional and credible and consulted with other trades tha\ were insulating our attic to ensure junction boxed could easily be found again if needed. I have had other electricians that I would not hire again. Declan was such a nicde change, and I would be comfortable recommending him to others and would defnitely hire him again.

This is the second time I've hired Declan in the past year and this is the second time he has done a spectacular job.

Declan installed an additional 2 pot lights to the 6 I had him install last year as well as a junction box over the kitchen table for a pendant light. (Previous job was much larger - rewiring knob & tube on our 1st floor and installation of pot lights in kitchen, junction box over dining room table)

During his quote he made us aware of all the possible outcomes and additional charges that might occur if the job wasn't as simple as it appeared (No additional charge was required). He even helped my wife visualize where the light would hang to ensure she was happy with the kitchen table light location.

He was very neat and moved kitchen counter appliances and used drop clothes to avoid making a mess on the floor. He avoided making any unnecessary holes in the ceiling - which made my job easier (no holes to fill!). He cleaned and swept up when he was done.

In the end he was very quick. Under two hours for the job to be completed, and besides the beautiful pot lights in our kitchen you would never have known he was even there.

I would highly recommend Declan and Green Isle Electric for any electrical job in your house. He's honest, helpful, clean and does a great job.

Declan did an excellent, efficient job of removing my old bathroom exhaust fan & installing a new one. Explained what he would need to do--very friendly & professional. At the same time, he noticed a bathroom plug was not up to code & fixed that as well. All this work was done under the original quoted price. Before leaving, he double-checked his work & left the area clean. I would highly recommend him for any electrical work!

We found Declan in the Beach Metro over 10 years ago when we first moved into our house. Declan has come to our rescue several times, most recently to install pot lilghts in our kitchen. He is professional, friendly and his prices are reasonable. If you are looking for an Electrician, we would highly recommend Declan!
