Bob came over quickly, but not too quickly (because he was obviously very busy - a good sign). We went up on the roof and he gave a comprehensive explanation of the challenges that were faced, the potentially unknown elements (extent of rotten wood beneath membrance that couldn't be evaluated until part of the roof was off) and opinions on things he thought we should consider - such as insulation.
He was honest in what he said and there were no surprises. He worked with out budget to get us a great replacement roof with double the insulation we originally intended and didn't even charge us for all the joist and sheathing repair he did. His initial quote was slightly cheaper than the others we had, but not so cheap that we were suspicous of what our eventual payment would be...
Best of all Everest were reliable - they showed up when they said they would and did the bulk of the work (650 ft2 flat roof replacement) in two days including skylight installation!
They used our neighbour's driveway for access and were courteous and respectful of the situation.
