Electric Panel upgrade

We contacted Hotwire for a quote for a electric panel upgrade and installation of a dedicated line for our microwave. Response by Hannah and Oris was quick, friendly and professional. The work took a day to be completed and the price was the same as the estimate given. We were very pleased with everything.

Electric Panel upgrade

We contacted Hotwire for a quote for a electric panel upgrade and installation of a dedicated line for our microwave. Response by Hannah and Oris was quick, friendly and professional. The work took a day to be completed and the price was the same as the estimate given. We were very pleased with everything up to this point. After they left, we noticed that 2 relatively new circuit breaker fuses that were in the panel were nowhere in sight. When we enquired about them, we were told that they did not take the fuses as they had no use for them and that all the garbage was left at the side of the house. Everything had been tidied up very neatly, and all the garbage was found in a long flat box at the side of the house. The fuses were not found in the box. We suppose that it is possible that someone went through the box, took the fuses and cleaned up all the bits of wire, etc. and put everything back into the box, in the short time that it was left out there. Although the fuses were not worth that much (~ $25), the whole situation regarding their disappearance and how it was handled by Hotwire (previously able to get a quick call back from them, now we were suddenly playing telephone tag) left a bad feeling about the experience.

**As requested by Hotwire, we will forward them all the original emails and responses we received from them.
