The installers they sent did not install soffit guards. They left a exhaust fans blowing into the attic,this has caused alot of damage. There is condensation every were in the attic &stains on the ceiling.

We only had about an inch on insulation in our attic. The house was cold and the furnace was working overtime. I called Dominion Insulation Inc. I was given great advice, booked them and now our house is cosy and warm. Very impressed with their service

Apparently there are very few companies around that install blown fibreglass insulation. Although I had been advised by couple of companies that blown cellulose could be installed over fibreglass, I thought that sticking with the same material if possible made more sense. I finally found Dominion, thanks to HomeStars. I needed to top up the existing insulation with another 6" and I had already measured the ceiling area. I got the estimate and the installation date over the phone so I placed the order. Everything went off like clockwork just as promised. The installers were all business and not much for social niceties. Perhaps it was because I was the first job of the morning. They even attached weatherstrip and fibreglass batting on top of my attic hatch, which I didn't expect. They were done in less than an hour. I had a little clean-up afterwards but nothing to complain about. They delivered when they said they would at the agreed upon price. What more could I ask for?

They were efficient, and on time. They provided me info on rebates and about the insulation and the job itself. I got blown insulation in my attic approx 700 sq ft. I went from R20 to R50. I would recommend them.

We had to have vermiculite insulation removed, I called to ask about removal and they were very helpful in pointing me to the right place to have it tested before we engaged in any work. I was provided a good quote, a good recommendation on Rlevel, there was follow-up to confirm timing and the work was done promptly, professionally and on time. I'm very happy with the work done.

We had our attic insulated. The sales rep and installer were very helpful explaining all the questions I had about the job.

The price is very competitive and would probably cost you the same if you bought rolls of insulation and did a DIY job. I would recommend them.

Not knowing a thing about insulation and the rebates available, I was very impressed with Steve the salesman from Dominion who took the time to explain in great detail all my options. He provided me with all necessary literature to qualify his recommendations. The quote was the cheapest and the installation went off as Steve outlined. I have since told all my neighbours to call Steve.

I hired Dominion to insulate the space under my flat roof. Brian the salesman came and quoted me a price based on the estimated roof area. However, the area sounded too large and when I remeasured the area myself, I found it was 25% less than he had estimated. I called him back and he remeasured and found that I was correct and he adjusted the price accordingly. But if I hadn't remeasured I would have overpaid by $200 -- not a great first impression.

The guys came as planned to install the insulation and were efficient and the house is now much warmer. However, my roof required that many holes be drilled in the ceiling to make access points for the blown insulation. These holes created *a lot* of dust and required filling afterwards with drywall compound. The filling job was poor, because they did not have time to let the drywall set in the holes. As a result, it bulged out of each hole, looked very unsightly and created a job for me to fix. Also, they did vacuum but the dust got *everywhere* and I spent hours cleaning up afterwards. I felt I was not adequately briefed beforehand about how messy the job would be.

So I had a very mixed experience with Dominion. The installation was fast, the insulation works well and the price was good. But the mistake with the quote and mess left behind were real negatives.

Vincent was very accommodating by meeting me in the evening for the quote, and was able to meet my tight deadline. The workmen showed up as promised, took as long as expected, left the job site clean. Very satisfied customer.
