Cozy World Inc.

We had a minor problem with our furnace last week. However, the problem was fixed promptly with an email to Boris. Cozy World isn't like the other companies that you'll have a hard time getting them to your door after they have made their sales. Excellent service!

After seeking quotes from a few companies, we decided to go with Cozy World because of Boris. He was professional, upfront and extremely knowledgeable. We were very impressed with Boris' depth of expertise and decided he would be the person we wanted to work with should anything go wrong. A week later, I (mistakenly) thought there was a furnace leak, and Boris promptly sent a technician out to deal with it. I highly recommend Cozy World to anyone considering a furnace replacement.

We shopped around... We were quoted $6400 by another company before Boris from Cozy World came and quoted $3300 for the EXACT same unit. Boris was professional, and did not try to sell us on anything - in fact, he told us we didn't need a new furnace! We got it done, anyway, as our old furnace was 12 years old and not efficient, and the government rebates were nearing an end.

The team worked around our schedule. They arrived on time and completed the job on schedule. The furnace works very well and we are very happy with it.

My only minor complaint is that they did not clear the boxes in the corner where they drilled the holes for the new ventilation. I had to move them afterwards and clean up a good deal of saw dust and debris both inside and outside the house. I could have called them back to clean it up but it really wasn't a big deal.

Later when my furnace failed to stay on, Boris sent someone out the same day. It turned out to be a faulty thermostat (which was installed by the city through the PeakSaver program, and had nothing to do with Cozy World) but he didn't try to charge me for the service call like I've heard other companies have done in the same situation.

Overall I was very satisfied with my purchase. I would not hesitate to recommend Boris and Cozy World to friends and family.

Just had a new furnace installed just in time before the government rebate was over. The crews worked through lunch and had to drill thru 3 walls (6 holes) which was a bit more work for them but they were dedicated. Must say so far so satisfied! Considering the job well done, decent price and the best warranty of 10 yrs parts+labour, can't ask for anything more and Cozy World is the place for service. We also got "free" duct cleaning from this new powerful furnace. Couldn't believe the amount of dust this new furnace pulled out from the ducts. It's blowing heat out like mad. Starting to feel the savings already in gas and electricity! Let's see how this new furnace will face up to the next winter.

A last minute job before the government rebates expires was made possible by the owner, Boris. His crew worked right through lunch and finished the job in about 6 hours. They came on time and tided up nicely. Furnace is working as designed. Big difference in the "coziness" feel of the house now. Its only been on for one day, so I can't comment on reliability or service calls. I may update this review if something arises.

Other than that, the Homestars rating of 10 is well deserved.

When we needed a new furnace, our neighbour recommended Cozy World whom they had used and were we ever glad they did. Their estimate was thousands of dollars less than the quote we got from "the big boys".
Boris was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in simple to understand terms. It's obvious that he is passionate about his work and proud of his company's success and deserved good reputation. The installers were prompt, professional, organized and tidy. We are very pleased with our experience and would not hesitate to recommend the firm to others.

We had a furnace replacement done by Cozy World. A good priced quote, detailed explanation of the work to be performed and the various options available, and a very quick installation.

I would be hard pressed to say anything different from the other reviews. Boris and company were professional, courteous, and helpful. Cozy World's estimate was as good or better than any we received, and came with excellent advice that saved us even more. (We heard about Cozy World from my brother-in-law, who had an A/C installed in a new house last summer).

On installation day the crew arrived bang on time and began what must have been a challenging install, given the location and space constraints. However they completed the job in a timely manner, very neatly and professionally, even managing to route the intake/exhaust through a difficult space in order to make it 'disappear' (the original plan had it running where it would be visible in our garage) . They left us with thorough instructions, documentation, and the followup was immediate to make sure we registered our equipment for warranties and rebates. They were very conscientious with the cleanup afterwards, and took care to cover our floor before starting work.

Most name-brand HVAC equipment is of comparable quality these days, often using the same components across brands. However, research will tell you that the quality of the installation is a major differentiator in the experience you will have over the life of the unit. Cozy World's work is top-knotch in this regard. Highly recommended.

Boris was honest and competitive. He told us what others wouldn't. His price was fair and his installers did a fantastic job. The house was left in good shape and they cleaned up after themselves. I would highly recommend Cozy World to anyone looking for a furnace and AC.
