Poor customer service and quality of couch

Buying the couch was ofcourse easy and everyone was nice at the store, but the minute they hear you are not satisfied with the product or looking for help, they say its not our problem, you have to deal with the manufacturer. They even stop responding to emails and phone calls. Very disappointing way to do business, I will never refer anyone to this store and will never buy any furniture there again. Our couches are so uncomfortable and have a poor quality. The store refuses to return or exchange. I dont recommend it.

Electric reclining chair

Ordered chair in blue came in gray instead. When assembled the power would not connect. When trying to return I was directed to return to Liverpool Great Britain. Interest since it supposedly made in the US. Do.not recommend buying from this company.

Don't ever buy from this store!!!!

Please be warned when buying furniture from Cozy Living furniture. The furniture is overpriced with poor quality. I got a sofa a purchased from them for over $2000!! The sofa had cheap foam filling...Its not worth the money...It looks good, but don't be deceived.

Worse, the delivery guy is a bully. He desperately tried to bully me I think because I am female. The older man who doesn't communicate well in English came to deliver my furniture with one other guy, they both tried to bring the sofa in but after trying for ten minutes the older guy became frustrated and spent the other 40 minutes on the phone speaking to someone . I heard the guy on the phone say, " just have her sign the form and leave it" The older man got off the phone and asked me to sign a paper and I refused. He tried to tell me to just sign it to say we were here. I refused as the sofa was still sitting on the from lawn outside.

He threatened to leave it on the lawn and tried to get me sign a paper giving him permission to leave the sofa on the lawn for me to figure out how to get in in my house-even though I paid to have the sofa delivered to my house. I refused to sign the form and he told me that " guaranteed I will not take this back to the store, I will leave it here" He walked back to the moving truck and got in. I also walked to my car and got in and drove away and went back to work as I was on my lunch.

When I got home from work the sofa wasn't there. I called the store for three days straight trying to find out where the sofa was. Three days later the owner called me to say it was in the factory and they will send a technician to measure my house. Over two weeks later a "technician" name Bobby from the "sofa company" called be at 9:45 pm asking if he could measure my house at 11 pm the same night. I told him no.

He came by a week later with a measuring tape to measure the entrance of my house and then requested $100. I told him no, why would I pay you $100? He said OK he will follow up with the owner of the store.

The next day three of them arrived with the sofa- Bobby the technician, the older man, and a younger guy. They tried to bring the sofa in and I told them to stop when I saw that they had improperly angled the sofa to where it was touching the ceiling. As I called out to stop, the older delivery man yanked the sofa and punctured the ceiling. I was so upset. The older man said " next time don't but a big sofa" The younger guy said " at least we got it in side" I was so angry.

They all took pictures and sent it to the store owner.
I called the store owner a few times before getting him. When I got him he said he didn't have the pictures and for me to send them. I sent them and called him back. He said its my landlord's responsibility to fix the damage the delivery guy did to the ceiling but that he will call me back. Its been almost 7 days and I have been calling him back and is unable to get him. It would appear that he has blocked my calls.

Never buy anything for this store. The Blond lady Gaglina is nice and engaging but don't be deceived. The people behind the scenes are shady. I'll update once and resolution is reached.

Sofa

Mr.Sam from the store in Mississauga "Cozy Living Forniture " is the best person to have a business with. He has ability to listening to his customers and he can really understand their needs. He and his team are professional and reliable people.
I highly recommend his store.

Terrible experience

My experience with this company was less than ideal. Not only did our $6000 desk come very damaged, but the movers also left behind dirt, garbage and footprints. The owner of the company was in no way helpful, reasonable or professional. VERY poor experience.

Furniture

I purchased several items from this business and had exceptional service. One item had a dent and was missing a remote . They looked after me it was replaced and everything was fine. Delivery was on time as promised and they took care to set it up for me .
I have no complaints at all. I will purchase again from the same company.

Custom Kitchen Table - Horrible Experience

My experience with Cozy Living Pickering was horrible. They were rude and abrupt on the line and awful to deal with. I will never purchase anything here again. We purchased a custom made kitchen table and chairs for approximately $4000 and waited 10 weeks for delivery and still haven't received it, now they are telling us sometime but they can't guarantee when (clearly a mom and pop shop) when I asked to speak to a manager the man on the phone told me I was rude...complete ignorance on the phone, he actually hung up on me (nice customer service). We still have no kitchen table and now they are promising sometime next week. Definitely not somewhere I would recommend buying anything from

Custom armchairs

I ordered two armchairs from Cozy Living Furniture and selected a fabric from the fabric choices that they had displayed with the armchair in the showroom. Upon pick-up, only one of the chairs was assembled and the other was unassembled in a box (which was surprising for a ~$600 chair). The upholstery job on the assembled chair was poor (obvious creases; uneven padding/stretching), the fabric was stained, and the chair wobbled. We pointed this out, so they said they would try to fix it and assemble the second chair (at our request). It took a few weeks for them to 'fix' the issue, but upon our receiving the two chairs we noticed that one chair chair still wobbled and the upholstery job was still horrible. We called the store to discuss and were told that they could not guarantee that the chair could be fixed nor could they give us a full refund. I have dealt with a lot of furniture companies, but this was by far the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It is essentially a lose-lose situation for the customer when dealing with Cozy Living. They offer poor quality furniture (at inflated prices), they do not back their products and they will keep a 25% "re-stocking fee" if you return their defective furniture. I ended up returning the chairs because I was so unhappy with the quality and was forced to forfeit ~$300 to this company for nothing. Oh, and they also asked us to pay for cleaning one of the defective chairs because it got a small mark on it in the process of us bringing it back to the store. The poor quality furniture, poor customer service and poor after sales support is their business practice by design. Therefore, I would NOT recommend this store to anyone.

Custom Headboard

This company did a very good job with helping me to pick out the perfect fabric for our king size headboard. They had a great selection and quality brands. Ours was a DecorRest, made in Canada. Price was good and the delivery staff was very helpful and gentle.

Kitchen table and chairs

Great service at time of sale, excellent delivery, have large scratch on table, 2 months of phone calls, several promises broken, we still have a table with a huge dent, poor after sale service
