Our sand filter broke after only 5 years will no help from the manufacturer (Pentair) or the company that built our pool. Thank you to Michelle at Colonial that worked very hard to get us a new sand filter. During Covid19 shipping had been an issue but she called us twice a week to keep us informed. Our new filter was installed yesterday by Jason and Zach who were professional and polite and now our pool looks clear again! We have been having our water tested her for four years, all the staff are very honest and never try to oversell. Amazing job to Michelle and all the staff at Colonial, keep up the great work!

It was evident that the previous home owner had not closed the pool properly. Called Colonial to have them open the pool. When they lifted the tarp, the pool was in clearly rough shape. They took off the tarp, filled the pool with water, told us to have the water tested and add the necessary chemicals. Hundreds of dollars later, our neighbour helped us out and told us the reason our pool couldn't balance is because we probably have leaves and debris at the bottom and to clear that out. Once we did that bingo, problem solved. I would have expected the company that opened the pool to tell us it makes more sense to clear out the debris before filling the pool , or you'll be wasting a ton of money. On the plus side they do test the water when we bring it in and let us know what to add. Will be using another company to close the pool.

We purchased a la conda 2 in 1 pool table from this place. First they mixed up the time they were to install. Once the table was installed we we realized it was not the wood finish we had picked out. We liked the table so we did not complain. They closed our pool for us as well. They charged us for new water bags to place on the tarp. Two of them had holes in them and I had to
constantly refill them as the tarp kept caving in.there are a lot of pools in the nieghbourhood and ours looked like it was done half asked compared to others. We then booked our opening in april. They told us they were busy till

day. They did not show up. When we called they basically Told us that did not make the appointment and that we would now have to wait another 3 weeks. My mistake for giving them too many chances.

I hired this company to open and close my pool for the year. When the opened it they made a mess, leaving parts in the pool and did not do any cleaning up after themselves in my backyard. So I canceled the closing. I called them again for the closing this month to give them another try 3 weeks ago. They canceled on the actual day of the closing and then did not even show up for the rescheduled date with no call. After a couple of more days, no return calls or anyone showing up!!

Previous home owner recomended Colonial Pools to me and i understand why, Michelle and the store team are fantastic and so helpful, as they know its my first time with a pool and hot tub they took the time to write me a step by step guide on when to add and how often and also do all the chemical analasys for you! James's pool school fantastic for a first time pool owner and didnt mind going over things again to make sure i was happy and is all is all you need to know how to keep a pool, i can not speak more highly of this company a full wrap around service and all so happy to help and as the note from the previous house owner said " you wont get a better deal anywhere! " my new pool cover arrived last night, $50 cheaper than i could even find on the internet and i was delivered to my pool FOC - great company!

We contracted this company to install a safety cover on our pool in the fall or 2012. We had a date book however they called the day of the installation and advised that the cover hadn't been ordered and that there would be a week delay before they could some out and install it. They did call a week later to arrange a new installation date and stuck to it. The cover looks great. I am impressed on the officer manager's ability to remember customers, knowledge and friendliness.

I have always bought my chemicals for the pool here, so I contracted them to do cement work and install a new pool liner. The work was done in the fall, so we closed the pool and when we reopened the pool and filled it we found there were two or three leaks in the linerl. I contacted them and they said that it would cost me to have it repaired even tho they had just installed the new liner in the fall. Not happy with this company.
