We needed the insulation on the newly upgraded washrooms as well as top-up of the existing insulation to R50. Howard came over to check our requirement and gave us an estimate. Howard was very professional, punctual, and gave his honest opinion on the work required. The work was perfomed within a week by Gino and Frank. Gino asked me to go up the attic and check the insulation. It appeared to be done very well and evenly spread out throughout the entire attic. Thanks Gino and Frank for doing a great job, Gino was very professional and took care of everything before and after the job. The entire work area was cleaned up nicely with no mess afterwards. Walter, thanks for coordinating the job from start to finish. We look forward to enjoy the nicely insulated home!

Quick, tidy and efficient job topping up blown cellulose and evening it out in the attic of our new (2 yr old) home. When I asked whether the hatch to the attic had been weather-stripped, they said no, and went back and did it. I can't ask for more.

Tropical did the insulation after vermiculite was removed. They did an excellent job: sprayed foam over the duct work and across the attic and crevices; blew in insulation. Walter Modotto did a great job ensuring his team prepared the work area (removing all sorts of wood and other items left in the attic by previous owners) and did the blowing of foam and insulation properly. Alot of attention was paid to detail so that I was confident that the proper work was done. Would recommend Tropical for any insulation work!

Tropical Insulation installed cellulose insulation in our home in the Port Credit area of Mississauga in the Greater Toronto Area. The sales person we dealt with was very friendly and never pushed anything on us that we did not need - something very hard to find these days. The installers were very friendly and respectful and ensured they moved carefully while in our home. The work itself was excellent - I went up in the attic and inspected the job with a friend who works in the trades and we were both very pleased with how good the coverage is, particularly in the hard to reach areas. We contacted Tropical Insulation to install blow-in cellulose insulation in our attic, which had no insulation at all. They installed R50 insulation, which was confirmed yesterday by our energy auditor. They also installed baffles and weather-stripping on the attic hatch, which showed they know their stuff. The installers were also very pleasant and cleaned up after themselves.

I needed to have some insulation blown into my otherwise empty attic. Howard gave a fair estimate. The workmen were prompt, very clean and had me inspect the work after. I was satisfied.

I paid for R-35 celluose insullation to be installed over the existing insulation. When I hired another trade to install potlights he informed me, prior to doing any work, that the celluose insulation did not look like R-30. Tropical agreed the insulation was deficient but they would not correct the problem gecause the insulation had been disturbed by another trade. Tropical said they would top up the insulation for $300 which represented an additional 33% in the contracted price.

Needed to top up my attic from R-20 to R-50 for the energy audit rebate. Contacted avenue insulaton through home stars and was also refferred to Tropical Insulation. Then Howard came by to measure and give me a quote. Went through with the insulation top-up and it was done today , and I am very happy with the work done . Thank you again. I have stumbled upon this great site and found terrific reviews of Tropical Insulation. I hired them for my attic insulation and result was superb services and work. From Howard who gave me free estimates to Alfredo and Sam who performed actual work, without leaving any dirt afterwards. Super efficient and clean job.
