Jim Slack came over and inspected my roof. It was in poor condition and since rain was forecast he sealed a number of areas that were allowing water through. Jim went above and beyond to minimize any damage from leaks even though the new roof was to be installed in about two weeks.
Roof install was supposed to occur on October 15th. By 10:00 no one had shown up so I called and the crew was stuck on another job and wouldn't arrive until the afternoon. They called again after lunch and said they couldn't come that day since rain was forecast in the afternoon. Wasted a day off work and would have appreciated a little notice that they couldn't come.
They did come the next day and did a reasonable job. Left behind a bit of a mess and clearly didn't clear the gutters as I found nails and bits of old shingle all through the winter in one of the downpipes leading from the upper roof to garage roof.
Quality of work was pretty decent. Had to call them back for a small fix this week and Cherry and Clark was there within about two hours and corrected the problem. Couldn't ask for anything better than that! Overall, the experience was pretty good and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them or use them in the future.
