Anthony came by and inspected job before completion and provided an estimate and time line for completion. Job completed as specified and renos exceeded expectations. After completed and painted the rooms looked very new. Clean up was also exceptional.

We had difficulty finding contractors interested in doing a gut of a 1-Kitchen and 2-Bathroom renovation. An issue with the housing boom is that there is a lot of demand for contractors, so it is difficult to find ones interested in smaller condo renos. The moment we contacted Celio Group, however, we knew we were dealing with a totally different situation. Within days, we had an aggressive quote and a personal affirmation that they wanted the business and could do it correctly. We were off the the races shortly thereafter and despite the fact that there are always delays, it was basically done within a month and a half, just slightly over the time frame we had imagined. Throughout the process, the Celio brothers and Anthony, who was in charge of our project, took care of every single aspect of the reno, including coordinating with the concierge and building management in our condo (and smoothing the process immensely), picking up and delivering finishings for us, keeping everything as clean and organized as possible along the way, and keeping up with communication and progress on all fronts. The final product is spectacular and we are enjoying it every day. Celio Group's biggest strength outside of the quality of work, is the communication factor. Everyone we dealt with was super nice and super accommodating. They took care of every aspect of the renovation outside of choosing what we wanted for us, and in the end delivered exactly the quality we had hoped for while managing, in stellar fashion, all details necessary with minimal impact to the customer. A+++ job.

Through this site, I learned about Celio Group. I did the research and received a number of quotes for a project to completely renovate my old bathroom. My gut was to go with Celio Group and I have absolutely no regrets. Rob provided me with a competitive and detailed quote, advised me on what I needed in preparation for the project, he was incredibly patient and honoured decisions/changes that were made along the way. Both he and his partner Anthony provided professional advice and worked with me to ensure that I was going to be proud of my new bathroom. The trades’ people were efficient and professional, the work was completed in a timely fashion and the worksite was left in order. For the month where my world seemed upside down, their humour put me at ease. I would certainly rehire Celio Group for future projects in my home.

Anyone taking on a major renovation fear not in the hands of Sam, Roberto, Anthony and the team. While having researched and interviewed many firms, prepared with plans and armed with knowledge, I have to admit, I didn't know what to expect, having never done such an extensive improvement. And, living through it. The Celio group were truly superb, from outlining each week the schedule and process of what was to be done, to being here, and always being available to discuss, virtually, anything.
This was a 7 month renovation, working with city streets, winter, ice, snow and all the joys of an older home in the city. On time, on budget and with a smile throughout, I happily would recommend the guys to make your drawings and dreams a reality. Nicely done, men.

Working with Celio Group on my garage improvement was a pleasure. I got 4 estimates (3 from Homestars-rated folks) and Celio came in lowest of the Homestars rated folks, and very close to the non-rated contractor, so I went with the known quantity. Roberto Celio stayed in touch while I was waiting for my building permit, and started construction within days of my getting it. The carpenters worked steadily until it was done. Roberto Celio came to the job site once or twice a day, and when the carpenter did something I found unacceptable (putting untreated lumber flat on concrete where it was likely to get wet) he had the carpenter tear it out and replace it with treated lumber. So the only complaint I had with the whole process, he fixed, completely, and without me having to fight about it. He really is committed to keeping his customers satisfied. When plans needed to be changed in minor ways, he explained the reasoning beforehand and got my OK before proceeding. They always left the job site clean, and even hauled off a little of my junk along with their construction waste, for no extra charge. Finally, Roberto (and his brother, who I had less contact with) are both pleasant guys to work with. Truly, I could not have asked for a better experience. Highly recommended.

The Celio Group was contracted to do a complete main floor reno: remove a wall and old tiling, re-tile complete main floor, new hardwood floor in living room, widen doorways/install new trim work and doors, paint all rooms, remove tub to add a wheelchair accessible shower, new countertops/sinks for kitchen/bath, replace a window with a door and install a new deck with a wheelchair lift.

I was a little nervous about the project but Rob Celio set me at ease with his calm and easy demeanor. Rob and I discussed the plans for the reno: how long it would take, advice on the pros/cons of what I wanted done, the costs and what changes had the best return on investment.

The reno went amazingly well and on schedule (some things were actually ahead of schedule!). They took care of all the clean up. Each of the trades (electrical, tilesetters, plumbing, etc) the Celio Group brought in were fantastic to work with - polite, respectful, caring, easy to talk with, and excellent in their field.

Rob kept me informed of the progress at all times. Since I've never done a reno of this size before, I asked Rob to remind me when I needed to make decisions/selections for materials (so I wouldn't hold back their progress). He and his staff, were always pleasant with these reminders and the project ran smoothly.

The house looks like a new place and it's beautiful!

Sam, Rob, Anthony and their staff were excellent to deal with from the start. All contract details and work orders were written in detail. They are a professional group with excellent knowledge, but above all had the ability to communicate with me about the job every step of the way. I probably had a million questions and they answered every one of them. They performed the big parts of the job very well, but I appreciated their attention to the little details (caulk, grouting, etc) that could make or break the overall project. They really immersed themselves in helping my vision become a reality, treating the project as if it were their own house. The project came in on time, on budget, on scope resulting in our fabulous luxurious master bathroom which we are ecstatic about and use everyday with no problems.

Our house (near Bloor and Lansdowne) had a small extension at the back when we bought it. The city told us we had to demolish the extension because it was unsafe.

The project was quite small and often frustratingly slow because of city bureacracy/paperwork. The Celios, however, were always very professional and patient. They explained to us in detail what was happening with the city, and what was next in the process.

The work they did was excellent and they were always on time. Also, their prices were reliable (ie no unexpected extra charges at the end).

I want to say that this company dealt with my work professionally from the start. Since we only needed to start the basement reno but were not finishing it, they recommended what was best for our situation, planned the timing and did an excellent job! We knew what was happening and when at all times and the best part of all was their dedication, good workmanship and fair pricing. Thank you for a job well done. Hope that others share my experience in the future.
