We purchased a 100 year old house that needed a major renovation on the ground floor and bathroom on the 2nd floor. In addition; we needed to upgrade our electrical from knob & tube.

Rob & Anthony at Celio Group were extremely professional from start to finish. They made themselves available at all times. They completed the renovation project smoothly and without many hiccups along the way. The subcontractors they used ranged from ok to fantastic, but Rob & Anthony cared about the work at all times and made sure it was completed to the highest standard.

The work was completed on budget and very close to as scheduled. I work in the Construction industry and would not hesitate to recommend Celio Group to anyone. We were very satisfied.

We couldn't be more pleased with the work and workmanship of the Celio Group!! Not only was the work high quality, we find our friends and family constantly complementing us on our brand new wood floors and retrofitted and wheelchair bathroom. The Celio Group was wonderful to work with and showed the upmost professionalism with each step of the process. They made each stage of the renovation occur effortlessly with little stress.
When it comes to designing a wheelchair bathroom, this can be a daunting task at times, but the Celio Group worked together with us to brainstorm and execute the best solution to each of the obstacles we were facing.
When asked if we would use the Celio Group again, the answer is simple: Absolutely!
And we plan to recommend them to all our friends and family.

I would higly recommend this company. They are professional and personable. They hire top-notch trades people who do a fantastic job and are very courteous.

My only small complaint is that the project took a lot longer than we anticipated. But, I understand this is an almost universal truth in the reno business so I would not hold it against Celio Group. In fact, they'll be the first call I make when we're ready to do our kitchen!

We have used Rob and Anthony thrice before (Foundation and Bathroom Reno and a Kitchen Reno). So we are repeat customers. We had our renos scheduled months in advance because we know how busy they get, and in July we got started. Because thy have so many jobs, and relied on trades (not all of them were good e.g. electrician, laminate floor guy) our time-line was very delayed.

Rob and Anthony beared with my many complaints, and I really appreciated that. And, Anthony has a great sense of humour!

These guys deliver excellent work especially when it is complicated. I do think they should let get or closely watch some of their awful trades (e.g. rude electrician, and floor guys, messy painters). However, other trades like plumber and ductlesss AC installer were good.

We also liked that they were vry honest and told us when some ideas were just bad ones (e.g. fan in loft).

We will definitely be back again - for our windows etc. And, will recommend Rob and Anthony to our friends.

Celio staff and contractors worked extremely hard, including nights and weekends, to get our renovation done (well) in time for the disabled person to leave the hospital. They did their best to minimize disruptions, and were responsive, thoughtful, fair and reasonable. We feel lucky to have found them.

Rob and his team were always very professional and we knew that we could trust and count on Rob to be fair and complete the work with a high degree of quality.

We were very impressed on how fast they had our fence installed! they delivered a day before the actually install date, which was only 6 days after we placed the order. other fabricators wanted 2 to 3 weeks. Rob was very helpful in finding just the right fence for our patio he took us directly to his suppliers to select it. He gave us a tour of their warehouse and their cool technology. all in all we are very pleased with their service, the fence looks great and we get compliments all the time. I would definitely recommend them.

From start to finish the bathroom renovation was handled professionally and with care for customer satisfaction.

Having designed our kitchen and ordered our cabinets from Aya, I needed a general contractor to help me get through all of the structural, electrical, gas, and plumbing work required to completely overhaul and rearrange our kitchen. I narrowed down my research on Homestars to two contractors and found that, for about the same total cost, Celio Group was prepared to do more work and go the extra mile to get the job done. This included a complete demo of the old kitchen down to the studs of a 106-year-old High Park home. There were some surprises along the way that ultimately slowed us down, but Aya was flexible enough to allow Celio Group the time needed to do the job properly. Anthony & Rob worked with an electrician of my own choosing while employing their own plumbers, gas experts, boarders and drywall tapers. All of the wiring was replaced, new venting and gas lines were installed to accomodate a new range/oven location, and entirely new plumbing from the bathroom above the kitchen to the laundry room next to it was installed when we found the existing plumbing to be a leaking mess. Celio Group did not take advantage of the surprises we encounterd behind the walls and kept the cost of extra work to a minimum. All of this plus boarding and taping of the new drywall was completed for a reasonable and very competitive price. Truthfully, the only shortcomings on the job were by a couple of the tradesmen who either caused some unfortunate damage, made a couple of minor errors or just didn't clean up after themselves as much as I would have liked. To their credit, Rob & Anthony were quickly on-site to address any of these problems themselves, tools in hand. The Aya installer ultimately had no problems whatsoever installing the cabinets to create our very unique kitchen. Celio Group had successfully worked with a combination of Aya renderings and my own additional details on other elements of the renovation. I would recommend Celio Group to friends and family because Rob & Anthony can get the job done for the right price in a timely manner.

Anthony and Rob were very accomodating from the start with visits prior to the job and advice on how best to proceed with the renovation of our ensuite. The work was always professionally done in a timely manner and Rob and anthony were always available when we needed to contact them and resolved issues equally promptly. The only downside was that often we weren't made aware of what would be happening until the day before and sometimes this meant a bit of last minute rushing around to get required materials. Overall though the Celio Group did an excellent job and we were extremely happy with the results. None of the horror stories we have heard about contractors came about and we would definitely recommend them (we plan on using them for future work on the house).
