Windows & Doors Installation & Service review in Halton Hills

I purchased a house that had windows put in by this company and the windows were under a transferable warranty (warranty=no charge, does it not?). Some of the seals on the windows were broken and were under warranty to be changed. Long story short, I had a very difficult experience with them but promised to change the review if they lived up to the terms of the warranty which they eventually did after about six months. I need some more windows switched that have broken seals and hope that they will make good on their written word.

We bought a house with windows put in by this company and the previous owners passed on the transferable warranty to us. Out of the 13 windows, three of the windows have seals broken with the result that when you look out you see fogginess or strange "stretch marks" instead of a beautiful view (we live next to a wooded park)

I phoned the company the first week in June and was put in touch with Oleg. He is very polite on the phone but so far has politely told me to send a scanned copy of the contract to him. Result - nothing. I phoned the company again and left my number. Result: nothing. I phoned the company again. I was politely told to call back on Monday. I phoned on Monday July 7th and Oleg very politely told me he would phone me back in 10-15 minutes. Result: nothing. I phoned again after 30 minutes and was very politely told that he has to find this file or that file and I didn't inform him the previous owners name (it was on the contract that I had sent him via email a month ago) and that he has to find the original file please give him 10 minutes to call back. Result: nothing.

I sense that I am being fed a lot of lines in the hopes that I will eventually give up as it is a terrific waste of time to sit around "waiting" for calls and emails that never come. This is very disappointing since some of the windows look good and if they actually all held their seal properly then maybe the view out our window would be lovely too.

I was thinking of doing the downstairs windows with them but after this experience, I am definitely going to find a company that honors their warranty. Stay away far far away unless you like your blood pressure to go up.
