Thank you Flavio for making our toilet work right before we were scheduled to have a houseful of people! Flavio was able to come before the holiday weekend, when my entire family of 20 was going to fill my house. He not only unclogged the toilet. He spent a good 15 minutes testing it again and again to make sure that after he left it would still work (don't you hate it when it works for the fix-it guy, and then he leaves, and it won't work for you?) As all the reviews stated Flavio did an excellent job on all counts. We sure appreciate it.

Having hired Flavio once before, we once again turned to him to help find and repair a mysterious bathroom leak. Flavio did the job in a timely manner, and without causing any great damage to get to the problem. He left the jobsite clean and was very personable throughout the visit. Highly recommended.

Flavio has worked on previous plumbing issues in my former home. I had water streaming from my ceiling on afternoon and over the phone he managed to walk-me-through the issue as he was on another emergency call. When he did come, that problem was fine, but I had him work on a dryer venting issue which according to him was not only a fire hazard but the whole exhaust inside the wall had collapsed and several years of lint excess was inside the wall (lint was never cleaned from the dryer and accumulated to the extreme point of damaging the dryer). He rectified it by removing the old exhaust and taping it and moving the dryer closer to the wall so the venting is direct, instead of the maze of angles it was on before. He assured me it was "Flavio approved" and there will be no further issues. He will be returning to replace some faucets etc. but he is always a pleasure to work with and I have passed on his name to several people, they won't work with anyone else either!

Recently a high-capacity cushion tank in my aging furnace developed a sudden and substantial leak. Flavio promptly attended and was subsequently able to locate a replacement tank (not readily available) and effect installation in an extremely satisfactory and efficient manner. I enthusiastically and without reservation recommend Flavio's services.

I have used Flavio numerous time at many locations. On this last job, as always he showed up on time, came in on budget, and did excellent work that fixed the problems. He is pleasant to deal with and cleaned up everything when the jobs were done. He suggested more inexpensive solutions to 'try' before having to do big work that might be unnecessary - and his inexpensive solutions have solved the issues we had. I have recommended Flavio to friends and clients before and will continue to do so.

What seemed like a small problem with a leaking kitchen drain stack in our basement turned into something larger and more complicated. Flavio and Matt were able to quickly diagnose the problem and spent five long hours working very hard to replace the kitchen pipes in our wall, the stack and the leaking pipes underneath our kitchen sink. They were professional, friendly, knowledgeable and their workmanship was absolutely beautiful. The clean-up afterwards was impeccable and they left everything even cleaner than it was before. Flavio's attention to detail is amazing and he and Matt tested our pipes multiple times before leaving, just to ensure that everything was working correctly. I highly recommend Canada Wide Plumbing, especially if you have any complicated plumbing problems.

My job was a simple kitchen faucet replace with some undersink pipe soldering. I got a quote from another company ([competitors name removed - ed] - also on Homestars) in the area of $1200! I called Canada Wide and Flavio quoted me in the area of $600. I wound up buying the faucet myself and was charged under $500. I could not believe how much some other companies like ([competitors name removed - ed] - also on Homestars) inflate their prices. Canada Wide had a reasonable cost and was efficient in their work and did a good job. More importantly, I felt like they could be trusted.

The only problem was that Flavio is extremely busy and it took a long time for him to get over to my condo to do the repair.

Flavio was prompt, professional and it was evident he was proud of his trade by his attention to detail. He protected our new hardwood floors with tarps and his cleanup was second to none.
