Complete basement renovation + backyard shed
We hired Bravehart in 2009 to dig down, underpin and finish the basement of our semi-detached home. We met with several other contractors and Bill gave us a competitive quote and the most confidence that the job would be completed professionally and on time, so we chose Bravehart. We had had some negative experiences in the past with contractors and also had a 10 month-old baby, so we had some concerns about what the renovation process would be like.
Bill and the Bravehart team did a great job. They gave us a specific timeline for the work that met our requirements and the job was completed very close to schedule (there was some additional foundation work that needed to be done and this could only be discovered once the foundation was exposed). Workers were on the job everyday and were professional, courteous and hard working. Bill was onsite everyday and managed the entire project.
As a new mom, I was concerned about construction dust around our son, and Bill and the team did try to reduce the amount of dust in other areas of the house.
The quality of the basement finishing is excellent – they laid hardwood, painted, installed pot lights, built a laundry room, and furnace closet and installed new windows and stairs. It looks beautiful now. We love our new basement!
I would definitely use Bravehart again and recommend them without hesitation.
