They poured our basement floor in a new $1,000,000+ home

We bought a home in a new subdivision. Basecrete poured the basement floor for the builder. The workmanship was so bad it was sad and pathetic. Like all new homes, this one was expensive, and I was expecting reasonable quality throughout.
Tarion allows floors to be uneven by 1/2 inch over 10 feet. There were so many areas that exceeded this amount, it's easier to call the whole floor falling short of this requirement. The aggregate (gravel) in the concrete projected above the surface over about half of the floor. When the floor was floated or trowelled, it left large bumps and ridges, some as much as 3/4 inch tall. took 2 years to get Basecrete to even come back to look at it. They eventually send two men out with a grinder to smooth it out. It took 4 days of grinding to get the high spots down to where the low areas could be filled with self-levelling cement. The two men didn't bring any equipment for ventilation, filling the whole house, all of our furniture and belongings with a heavy layer of concrete dust on the first day. It took 4 days of grinding. I had to rent a couple of industrial fans to keep the dust down.
Then they filled the low areas with cement, leaving ridges, bubbles, and lumps.
When I tried several times to talk to someone about how badly the repair was being done, no one ever called back.
Several of my neighbors had the same problems.

There's no other way to put it; this is just a REALLY, REALLY BAD COMPANY.
